“A truly wonderful experience that keeps you coming back.” I have done a fair amount of traveling in my lifetime and have chosen to go to Kihei, Hawaii two out of the last three years for vacation. This year, I expect to return again. This is the perfect rental, it can be whatever you want it to be. In the morning we sit outdoors having coffee, watching the ocean glicin, people surfing and whales jumping. The accomodation is centrally located you can walk the beaches,swim in the pool outside your door or walk to the shops and restaurants. The accomodations are great and there are so many modern features and amenities. It is more than I ever expected and the price is reasonable. Carolyn is one of the best managers/hostess. Carolyn is very friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure that her vacationers' have what they like and more! I would recommend this condo to everyone, but please don't take my spot!

“Fantastic Experience” Stayed with my partner, her 7yr old son, and 79yr old mother. Apartments on the North side were spacious, and even though it was a single room, had enough space for the four of us. Fantastic location with whales visible from the room/beach. Jim was commendable in being flexible with our plans, which due to flight availability, changed part way through discussions. He was very helpful in recommending locations and activities. Look forward to our next stay here.

“Wonderful!” Our condo, 412B, at Maui Sunset was completely updated and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. Units at this complex can vary depending on who you are renting from. We were very happy with this unit rented from Kumulani, and would definitely do so again. The Kumulani staff was terrific!

“Comfortable and quiet condo” Maui Sunset is a very well maintained property. This unit is comfortable and well supplied with amenities, but has not been updated like others in the complex. I was there for an extended stay, and management was excellent (Wendy).

“We'll be back (said in my best Schwarzenegger voice)” Our 10 days at the Maui Sunset were amazing. Beautiful grounds, great for the kids, just open the door and go. We will definitely stay at the Maui Sunset again. That being said, this particular unit could use just a little tlc. A few updates on fixtures (faucets in particular). Also, we travelled with 3 other families and the other 3 units offered beach accesorries, ie; chairs, boogie boards, large cooler, etc. Our unit did not offer any of these items. We found out that it is up to the individual owners what the guests have access to. By no means am I complaining, those items just would have been nice. In closing, I highly reccommend the Maui Sunset and this particular unit. The Robinson's

“Nice property, unit 105a could use some updates” The grounds of the Maui Sunset are very nice and well maintained. The pool is good but very "rules oriented" (i.e. can't horseplay with your children). Unit 105A had all needed amenities but could definitely use some renovations and upgrades (still has a VHS player!). Carpet must be replaced, sofabed matress was AWFUL and the main bed was quite uncomfortable. Did like the A/C and ceiling fans.

“Maui Sunset A wonderful place for family & friends” We've been staying at the Maui Sunset since the late 80's. First were our parents,then us, now our children and soon their little ones. That says a lot about a place when you have had three generations returning year after year! Can't say enough nice things about the Sunset. Much appreciation to Wendy at Kumulani.

“Easy to arrange and surpassed exppectations” First time renting a vacation property through the internet, the overall experience surpassed what I expected. It was easy to reserve and coordinate with the property management. They were friendly and helpful on the phone. The property itself met my expectations and perhaps was even better than expected considering the price and location. It was a great stay in Maui. I would definitely recommend Rentals Maui to anyone looking for a place to stay that they can trust.

“Immaculate Condo in a Great Central Location” Maui Vista 1319 is an immaculately clean condo with everything you need for a great stay in Maui. The condo was remodeled in late 2011 and we stayed there in February 2012. Everything was in mint condition. The bedding was so comfortable my wife is shopping for the same sheets. The unit has two air-conditioners and two ceiling fans: one set in the main room and one set in the bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals on those days you opt to cook. You'll also find an iron and ironing board, 2 sets of snorkeling gear, beach towels and beach chairs. The condo is in a convenient location with easy access to food, shopping and the beach. One of the best beaches on the island is right across the street. Walk a couple of blocks to surfing lessons and great restaurants. The Foodland grocery store is also just a few blocks down the street. This part of the island is also great for watching beautiful sunsets. Overall, it's a great centralized starting point to get to any part of the island. We HIGHLY recommend this condo and would definitely book it again for our next visit.

“A Great Location for Our Family's Vacation” Hale Ili Ili was a great spot for our family's vacation. The location was perfect for shops, eating, and of course the beach and ocean! Also, the grassy area was a convenient place for the toddler to play right before a fantastic Maui sunset - which can't be beat and it happens right outside the door. We were excited to arrive, pleased that it exceeded what was promised, quickly made it our home, and wished we didn't have to leave. We hope to be back again someday soon.

“Home away from home” I did a lot of research in finding an appropriate place for me and my family to stay in while in Maui, and this was by far an affordable and wonderful condo. It had an ocean view (kalepolepo beach- pretty to see but a tad too muddy to swim in for our liking, maybe it was a season issue?) from a spacious lanai. Whenever we travel we like to feel as if we are at home and that's the feeling we got when we came to live here. We cooked wonderful meals, relaxed in the Jacuzzi after a long day of going to all the beaches at night, and felt like a part of maui for a week. The condo itself was very clean, had everything we wanted and needed, only thing missing was a weight scale to weigh the luggage but that's just being a little picky on my part. Tips would be to go to Costco after you land in Kahului because its literally a few blocks away from the airport and stock up on food for the week, very helpful. From there its about 20 min drive to kihei. Another tip is to make sure you go to ululanis shaved ice, not too far from condo, for delicious Hawaiian shaved ice!! All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back to this condo when we return to maui. Thank you again!!
