“EXCELLENT Vacation Home! GREAT HOSPITALITY!!” My family and I stayed here over the Father's Day weekend and although we only stayed for 3 nights, we wished we would have booked for longer and plan to return next year!! Eric was extremely accommodating, the cabin was very clean, the space was perfect for a family of 10 people with sleeping accommodations up to 14 comfortably! We have little kids and it was safe and perfect for them. There was separate spaces for private time, open gathering areas, and lots of open grass area for yard games. The cabin is set up for you to just bring the food you plan to cook, and a bag of clothes & toiletries for your stay. They thought of EVERYTHING (soap, paper towels, bedding, games, reading material, dishes (only enough formal settings for 8 people), bar mixers, wii games, movies, music, towels, pack'n'play, cleaning supplies, washer & dryer, etc.) Anything that you could possibly need they provide it for you!! (I think the only thing I found missing was a hair dryer) With the cabin close to the city, the conveniences were priceless! We rented the pontoon during our stay and it was like new in excellent condition supplied with life jackets so we only had to bring them for the kids. We also brought two boats with us (a fishing boat and a wake boarding boat) and there was enough room to dock them both. My husband caught a 7lb 23" Bass off the end of the dock, he was a beauty!! We spent a lot of time on the lake which was easy to maneuver because there wasn't a lot of lake traffic and the sand bar "party beach" was an excellent way to cool off in the hot MN summer. The only concern I have for future guests is to make sure that you read the lake maps, it is a VERY shallow lake. most areas between 5 and 10 feet. I think the deepest we saw was 17'. There isn't a sandy area for the kids on shore, but it is shallow enough to walk out by the dock, but if you hop in the boat and head across the lake, it's shallow enough for our 3 year olds to play around in the water too. I would suggest bringing gas cans for your boats as there isn't a pumping station on the lake. The Hot tub was also a great addition, it is non chlorine so it was refreshing and great for those who have allergies. The Cabin has a air filter cleaning system and my mom who is allergic to most things had NO problems. I STRONGLY recommend this place to family's that are looking to get away to a nice retreat from city life and spend quality time with family and friends. Kid Friendly, Dog Friendly, Elderly friendly, VERY accommodating!! Eric and his family rent this year round and it would be great in any season! Thank you Stoney Brook!! “Wonderful get-away” Casabella is a wonderful getaway. This was our second year and we left already looking forward to our next visit. The house has everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend away. The owner, Harvey, is quick to respond and Gator stopped by each day to check on us and collect garbage. The property and lake are spectacular, as are the surrounding towns. Can't wait to vacation here again.

“Wonderful week” We had a wonderful week on Gull Lake. A beautiful home on a point on Gull Lake. We had our extended family with sons/daughter in law, my brother, 90 year old mother and our two dogs. It could not have been a better week nor home. Will definitely come again. Thanks to Mike and Joy. What a beautiful home!

“Incredible, Peaceful, Minnesota Lake Experience!” Beautiful home situated on a quiet point on a well situated lake in Minnesota. Who could ask for anything more? Incredible views from the large front window, the screen porch (great when the mosquitoes come out) and the front deck. No need to go any further than the house :) But, if you do venture out of the house the entire property is beautiful with great views (loons and eagles too!). I sat and "read" a book for most of a day, the views were so breathtaking and the spot so peaceful that I only got a couple pages completed but my blood pressure and heart rate got to a all time low! Sunset, wow, sitting on the front porch, down by the dock, inside the screen porch or just by the fireplace. Tried 'em all and they all took my breath away. We seemed to take pictures every night! Love how the house faces the sunset. Storming? No worries, sit inside with a fire and watch a storm come over the lake. Ends up being just as fun as a beautiful day on the lake. Perfect location, you can see the boats from the house, but they can't see you! You can take a short boat trip around the point or a longer day trip to the main part of the lake, Eagles and Loons abound. Don't forget sandwiches and have a picnic on the lake! Clean home, beautiful artwork and furnishings. Much more than just a lake cabin, more like a beautiful, loved home. Your kids driving you crazy? Beautiful views from the master bedroom (with jacuzzi) too! Go "take a nap" and just sit and enjoy the view in peace. Lots of places on the property to spread out and enjoy family time or peace and quiet. Lots of great walks nearby as well. Can't wait to go back!
