“Amazing house and pool, well kitted out for little ones” Firstly the owners were very helpful and easy to deal with, and were very understanding and flexible when we were concerned about booking due to the bad health of my father in law. The house is lovely, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms, with amazing views of the Pyrennes. Luxurious towels and bathrobes were a lovely touch. The pool is a decent size which you can actually do a few lengths (with a beautiful view too). Its also very well kitted out for little ones with loads of outdoor, pool and indoor toys. When the sun is shining its a beautiful, tranquil place to be. The local town has everything, and the local markets kept us busy most mornings. However, when the weather isn't so good, there's not so much to do, unless you are happy to travel over an hour. However, we were there for 3 weeks in May and only had a few bad days. The positives far outweighed the negatives. The inside of the house isn't configured so well to entertain little ones for long periods of time inside. The flooring is such that sound travels across the property - so if one child is up, everyone is! The only other downside is that there aren't many local bars or restaurants, and even fewer that are open in the evening, however, we were very happy to stay home and cook a bbq, eating alfresco, watching the sun go down on the lake. Also the babysitters were really lovely, as were the gardener, cleaner and property manager.
