“Wonderful spot in Austin!” I stayed at this rental in Hyde Park for two weeks in September. It met my expectations and more. The rental was quiet, and well kept. In fact it was spotless inside! The kitchen was basically equipped but I had the essentials for making my own meals. The neighborhood is great and I would go for walks each day in the neighborhood meeting lots of friendly Austinites! Pete is a fantastic property manager and replied very quickly to any concerns I had. This is a great place to stay that is just out of downtown yet close to several restaurants and grocery stores. Also near bus routes if you don't have a car. Loved it. I will be back!

“Location, ammenities, comfort!” Laura's helpful, friendly manner made us feel welcome even before we arrive. Her beautiful home is centrally located with tons of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were very comfortable, so we all got a good night's sleep which is a must for me with my bad back. The living room is spacious and open with a two story ceiling and lots of comfortable seating. I particularly enjoyed the clean, well equipped kitchen. With a small grocery just a convenient walk away, we were able to easily relax and "eat in" for a few meals and the back patio was perfect for conversation and drinks after dinner. We also enjoyed a long walk though the trees in Pease Park which is just a couple of blocks away. More ambitious souls jogged or biked but it was so pretty and peaceful we just took our time. An austin treasure tucked away on a quiet street just minutes from downtown and the UT campus, this is definitely a 5 star rental. We plan to rebook this gem next time we come to town for UT football games!

“Home away from home” The appartment was very clean upon arrival and everything was exactly as presented on this website. The rooms were very spacious, the kitchen fully equipped and the walk-in closit was huge. We felt right at home in no time. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Austin and surroundings. There is a bus stop right around the corner, which will get you to the university and downtown Austin in only 15 minutes. A supermarket, bakery with delicious cookies and several restaurants are within a short walk.

“Cozy, Clean and in a Great Location” Perfect suite for my wife and I at a great price. Everything we needed backed up by professional service from Pete. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Austin. Thanks again!

“Honest operation, owners are exceptional people, property as adv” Enjoyed out stay in austin. Property was as advertised and in great location. My daughter left her wallet in the rental house and house keeping turned in the wallet to the owners aditya & Paole who properly contacted us and mailed wallet to us, awesome. I would not hesitate to schedule my next stay at location. Overall, great experience with people you can trust.

“Great Place” Great place to stay. Very clean, great location next to down town Austin. The only thing I would change is a TV in the bedroom.

“Quiet Bungalow in convenient neighborhood” I stayed at this home for 4 nights with my friend for an extended weekend holiday. The photos are pretty accurate of what you will be getting. It's a duplex with a master bedroom at the top floor. Please note that there is no door to this bedroom, it's basically in a converted attic space. There are 2 other beds on the ground floor next to the dining area. I love the cute IKEA furnishings and well stocked kitchen. My friend and I were so happy to have pots and cooking tools to make breakfast after stopping by the Saturday farmer's market and Antoinelle's cheese shop. There is a laundry room outside of the house that is located in a separate garage. Bring your own detergent and flashlight. Pete was super helpful throughout the booking process.

“Great house!” Three large beds, lots of clean towels and all necessary stuff in the kitchen. We stayed here for a week during SXSW and enjoyed very much our stay here.

“Great Location and Condo” Great Condo and Location I can't say enough great things about this location and condo, we arrived on Monday and by that afternoon my husband was already wanting to set a date for a return trip. We decided to try to return for the week after Christmas since he's a teacher and the kids will be out of school. 

This location is wonderful for a family, it has a great pool as well as being really close to the beach. My concern was that I wouldn't be able to get my teenagers out of the Condo since they brought the PS3 and each have cellphones. Once we hit the beach they had a wonderful time and we couldn't get them out of the water. The beach was clean and wasn't crowded at all. Perhaps it was the time of year or that it was during the week but it wasn't crowded until Friday and we had been out almost everyday. We also ate at Doc's Local Restaurant which had a very nice view and the food was good. I haven't had guacamole with crab, pretty tasty. Also we went to Port Aransas and took the Red Pirate Ship tour, it had a cute show for little ones or for the "young at heart". We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and will certainly be returning soon. 
You will enjoy your stay at this condo even if it is just for a get away. There wasn't a lot of loud music or noise around the complex either, which I really enjoyed while we were sitting out on the patio having coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. “Our third stay is booked!” We have stayed at Kathy's Kottage twice before and have just booked our third stay for next summer. We love Pointe West and this house has just been a perfect place for our family. This year we actually brought a couple of extra kids with us. Each time we come we venture out a little more and find new things to do and restaurants to visit. This year we found Olympia Grill on the bay at Pier 21. It was great. We also spent a little more time downtown. They had live music and many neat shops that the kids enjoyed going into. We had seen reports of seaweed in Galveston on the television, but by the time we arrived in late July the only seaweed we saw lingered in piles along the beachfront. If you are a repeat tenant make sure to ask for a small discount. We saved enough to pay for that meal at Olympia :).

“Mini vacation 2017” The location is great.We will definitely go back.Close to everything walking distance.Everything was clean all appliances came in handy especially having a washer and dryer was a plus.Only one problem mosquitoes in the morning due to grass not cut but besides that it was a great stay!

“Highly recommended” Beautiful location, and the house was very clean & cozy. House has everything you need to make it feel like you are at home. Beautiful scenery form the back and front decks, and our kids enjoyed kayaking in the canal. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

“Mrs. Mary Jo Gallagher” We enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms upstairs being accessible only from an outside stair case was a little inconvenient. We loved walking the neighborhood with our dog. What a pretty setting. Thanks for allowing or dog in your home. She loved the fenced in area.

“Great family time!!” We meet at Mustang Island at least once a year. This house was comfortable and slept our whole family. It was a little hike to the beach but not too bad.

“Family Vacation at Barefoot Dreams” The house was cool, the beds were comfortable and clean. We had four couples and 2 small grandchildren. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space yet all gather in the family room. Location was great as we could walk to kids to the beach.

“Great location, but...” One of the best locations near Port A that I've ever been to. Very private. The property is nice but the downstairs area is really more of a dungeon. It's only accessible from an outside door. It's dark and has no windows. The property wasn't very clean. Beer cans and junk just laying around the house, the interior wasn't very clean and unlike most rentals it wasn't stocked with basic essentials in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great and the internet worked fine albeit rather slow. This house should get 5 stars if they took a little time on fixing a few things (the myriad of french doors leading to the huge back deck are broken and it took a while just to find the one that worked) and clean it better. When we arrived to pick up the keys the young lady who greeted me seemed rather dismissive and not the kind of welcome I usually get when arriving for what is clearly a vacation.

“Amazing view and location, new property...bonus” We loved the location, view and proximity to town. The third floor was perfect for entertaining, had a great open kitchen which made it enjoyable to cook for the family. It was well appointed with everything you need. It ha 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bath, 2 kitchens, bar, play room, TV in every room, a well needed elevator and a garage. The pool was just an added bonus as we really enjoyed going to the beach daily.

“Great weekend get-a-way!” The house layout, decor and roominess was 6 stars. Construction was just completed so there a few very minor messes (which was understandable and very minor). It was a little difficult to connect to the internet, which was fine because we did not want to spend much time on computers or other electronic devices. Highly recommend the house, it was more than perfect. It got amazing reviews from several families (even a couple families staying at another location).

“Best vacation rental in Houston” I booked this Townhome for NBa Allstar weekend. Great location! With all the people in town and all the crazy traffic. I was able to take the streets everywhere and beat all traffic. The home is so cozy and has the best decor ever. I suggest if your looking for a nice, quiet, cozy place to stay during your stay in houston. Book this!
