“Kihei Stay” I would consider coming back. Very affordable pricing. The unit has been upgraded (except for the TV). We did spot one cockroach, but those are native to the island. Location isn't uber busy, which I recommend for a mellow/relaxing vacation. I would definitely consider coming back.

“Perfect Vacation Relaxation Spot” The view from the room and balcony was gorgeous. Sitting on the balcony each morning sipping my coffee was heavenly. All of the amenities were close to the room and just short walks away. The property itself was well maintained and quiet while still being family friendly. The room was comfortable and a great home base at the end of our daily jaunts. Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater were very easy drives from the Inn. I can't wait to visit again.

“Perfect location - ideal rental for the Verde Valley!!!” My husband and I found this rental and it was PERFECT!!! The studio was spotless, the location was ideal for all of our day trips to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Old town Cottonwood is super close and so quaint. The bed was so comfortable we asked where it came from so we can buy one for our home! It was so quiet, tranquil, and the pool is beautiful. We will definitely be back again!!!

“Quaint cottage for a couple!” My daughter and her husband enjoyed cabin #7 very much. Our only regret was there was an error in the reservation process, and they were not able to stay in the cabin for three nights, as had been planned. I will try to communicate our needs more clearly next time. At least accommodations were provided elsewhere for the third night at the resort.

“more than expected!” To our suprise the unit had boggie boards, louged chairs,umbrella for beach usaged. Kitchen fully equip however the ice maker is not hook up with the water supply,(w/c can be easily fix). The condo right across from the small beach park perfect for children less waves, only about 5-7 blocks bigger park, bigger waves, very close to restaurant and groceries store. This condo is great for budget traveler like me. Oh!food expensive in Hawaii, so try to bring your fave munchies, like chips,choco,candies, only dry items no liquid or jello products, you may carryon this items with you (yap!airline employee). A car is a must if you are planing to hop from on beach to another. Don't waste your money/time going to Hana or garden of Eden, enjoy and have fun with the beach activities instead, the JOY is there!

“A Great Place To Stay” Having stayed in a lot of lodging in alaska Soldotna area in the past 15 years I would have to say that a cabin by the pond was the most comfortable.Alaska is a great place to visit fish and explore. To enjoy the true alaska experience you need to pace yourself.You will need a week minimum.If you are a keen fisherman by all means do a one day king,halibut and a fly out silver and that's it.Take a break between days because it will exhaust you.Check the tides for clamming great fun day out.Fish from the beach on Whiskey Gulch and anchor point only one hour south from Soldotna.Use herring and salmon belly for bait you would be surprised what you can catch. Best public fishing areas I would have to say head back over the bridge and up towards Murphys lane.(Go a little above that to the public area)Nice quite spot up there great silver red and monster rainbow(on salmon eges)Great Silver fishing down at Cunningham Park(need a good 5-6oz weight to hold you in the current)If you want to catch fish in alaska in the public areas. Be on the water at 6.30am and you will be done by 9.00am or 9.00 pm to 12.00 midnight and have a sleep in the morning.Hey its your vacation but from 9am to 9pm things can get a little too busy on the river for me.Thats why I will head south for beach fishing or north on the Russian River or a day trip to Seward or Homer. Flight discounts probably the best deal is with alaska airlines.Get the visa signature card and a partner can fly for $100.Split the cost hey for under $500 your in business.Car rental.I use aBC motor homes 3 mins from anchorage airport.They pick you up and a lot cheaper than airport prices.Before you go check out the "Alaska Outdoor Journal" website for real time up dates on fishing updates regulations..But above all if you stay at "A Cabin By the Pond" you are right in the middle of it all.Great place to stay highly recommend it. Grotto Bay - Affordable Luxury On A Private Beach!

“Awesome stay” We stayed at Grotto Bay for a week in May. Salt Pond offers easy access to both ends of the island which you should absolutely explore. We went to numerous beaches and never had other people on them. Long Island doesn't have much to do other than beaches. There are a few restaurants and local markets, but other than that any kind of commerce is non existent. We flew in and out of Deadman's Cay and rented a car from Mr. T. Definitely recommend having a car. I wouldn't recommend Southern air, flights were late and planes iffy. As for our accommodations and hosts we couldn't have been happier. Jeannie and Kris gave us great suggestions and were more than happy to help with car reservations and general questions. The beach at the Grotto Bay is pretty and the water gorgeous. They have kayaks and paddleboards for use with islands close by to paddle to. We definitely recommend Grotto Bay and would go back with no hesitations.
