“One of those 'return to' places!” This past month our family spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Terrace Lodge, Camps Bay. Before we had even left we were enquiring about availability for this coming year. The apartment is one of those rare finds where one immediately feels at home. It has an old world, historical feel, with its wooden floors and huge sash windows. The uninterrupted view across a vast expanse of ocean is magnificent, tempting one to stay at home rather than explore the sights of Cape Town. Everything was clean and neat, and the staff were extremely efficient and polite. This is definitely one of those places that will draw us back over and over again!

“Spectacular location!” This place was ideally located directly infront of the ocean and from the balcony we got the most spectacular views of the varying sunsets whilst having a braai (barbeque) with friends. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was clean on arrival. Although they did not come and service the place over the weekend (it was the long Easter break), they left us more than enough towels etc which was housed under the main bed. The only downside of this place is the lack or rather no reception for our Wifi and the pool although it was advertised as having solar heating, was freezing. His excuse was that the wind made it cool, which was not true if it was really solar heated in the first place. Be aware that there are many steep steps to the apartment so may not be a good idea for older people or those with disabilities.

“Spacious apartment with modern finishes and an amazing view!” Amazing location, great views and a spacious apartment with everything you need. The rental company (Nox) were brilliant, they went out of their way to accommodate our very early arrival by helping with bag and transporting us to the property, we also had questions on how some of modern electronic appliances worked, which were promptly answered on their 24/7 roaming mobile phone. The only negative was the building works taking place in the neighboring property but it was only in the week and until 4pm - tricky to avoid building works as there continues to be lots of new build / refurbishments taking place in the Camps Bay Area. A very special thank you to try pleasant house keeper who cleaned up after us each morning.

“Perfect position in camps bay” Even though we only had a short stay it was the highlight of our trip. Apartment was super clean and furnished with everything we needed. The owner even brought us some fresh milk. It was perfectly positioned to be able to walk down to the beach and restaurants. The view is magnificent. Box rentals were super efficient and let us in and checked us out quickly and on time. Best part of the stay was watching the sunset from next to our little pool and enjoying some lovely South african wine.

“Luxurious private paradise in upscale Camps Bay with gorgeous vi” Fantastic!!! The view was amazing. Matt was an excellent host and gave us great tips for exploring the area. We had the option to pre-stock the fridge and pantry which was extremely helpful. Their choices were top notch and consumed. Place was spacious, super clean and comfy...upscale decor and amenities. The three bedrooms were ensuite making traveling with so many women much easier in the morning! We look forward to using the private plunge infinity pool on our next stay, weather was too cold, but we stuck our feet in anyway! Inside parking was an added plus. But the best part was folding back the sliding doors each night so the living room extended the balcony (as designed) and listening to the waves while we relaxed! This will be our first choice for future visits!!
