“Property Management company and resident Manager.” Property management company was supportive and provided very helpful concierge information. Was responsive to simple issue that arose and very professional and pleasant. The resident manager at the building was friendly and very informative. A great experience all around.

“We love the whales” This is a really nice condo. Great views and nicely remodeled. It needs a new frig and toaster. Bathrooms and kitchens are great!!

“Great Place to Stay” The place was newly remodeled. What you see on the pictures is what you get, not less. The view is great and if you have little kids the little beach in front is perfect for them. We loved it and we will definitively recommend to everybody.

“June in maui” We went to kihei for my husbands birthday. We stayed in kihei beach 506. Everything was wonderful and the condo was very clean. We loved the location. We were very happy being directly on the beach and loved sitting on the deck. The best part was we slept so good on that wonderful bed. I definitely would stay there again if we go back to Maui. “A perfect trip...” Our stay in Kihei was like a dream… The condo was exactly as described, clean, beautiful, affordable, and the view on the ocean… incredible! We received a warm welcome by the staff and the owner, they made it easy for us, we had anything we needed. The kitchen was complete and we cooked a lot. All the furniture was very comfortable, but the best of it…. During sunset, walking on the beach, which is just down the lanai of this nice condo…

“Amazing View!” We had a great stay in Maui at the Kihei Beach Resort. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed looking for whales. Fantastic walking beach where we could have walked about six miles in a northerly direction. The ali'i property management met us our first day and checked back with us to see if we had any questions. If we ever return to Maui, we definitely will consider staying here again!

“Kihei Condo at Sugar Beach by Alii Resorts” Great property. Beach at your lanai back door. Easy access. Fully furnished with all utensils. Wonderful having breakfast on the lanai patio, listening to the waves and walking out 30 yards to the ocean.

“Sugar Beach sweetness” Sugar Beach has a convenient location to the airport and Lahaina. It's away from the more crowded part of Kihei and right on a very nice beach. Condo was well stocked, clean, and the grounds are very well kept including the pool/spa area. They have water equipment to rent and a nice BBQ area. I have already recommended it to family and friends. Finally, the resort representatives were extremely friendly and checked in periodically throughout our stay to make sure everything was going ok. Lots of Aloha!

“Would stay here again without hesitation” Great beach/water location. Loved being able to sit on the Lanai and see whales, dolphins and hear the waves and yet high enough that had complete privacy from anyone on the beach. Great location on Maui (central) which was great for getting to/from other activities. The condo provided our family of 5 with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was as expected. The unit is on the 5th floor at the end of the complex away from the elevator so you either use the 5 flights off stairs or a walk from the elevator (but this also gives the privacy). The only two items I would recommend that could be improved were that that the oven took 45 minutes to pre-heat to 400 degrees (minor given that we only used it twice) and it would be nice to have a few water toys included for the kids to use, given that it was such a great beach location. We spent quite a bit of time in the water right in front of the place and it would have been nice for the kids to have a few water toys such as a boogie board, paddle board, or mask and snorkel. This was our first trip to Maui and we are completely happy with this unit and would stay here again.

“A vacation in paradise!” Our recent stay at Sugar Beach was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent in all regards and everyone is so friendly, including the amazing staff and the other guests. The condo where we stayed was superb, with lots of room, all the amenities, and a decor that makes you feel at home from the moment you come through the front door. Your location on the beach is awesome, and despite a little rain and wind we were able to find so many neat things to do during our stay in Maui.What we liked best about our stay was the friendly atmosphere and warmth wherever we went, then being able to come back to this magnificent resort at the end of the day to relax. “Sugar Beach 121” Such a great place to stay. Very centralized in relation to all areas of maui. The beach is fantastic, with nice white sand and awesome body/ boogie boarding waves. Another plus is parking is included with your suite rental. Not like most places up in Lahaina. Also the tour booking company attached to the main office has wonderful service. We booked all our trips there.

“Our First Maui Vacation” My girlfriend and I have used Vrbo before, for properties in Europe and have never had an issue. Jill and Terry did not disappoint! The Honua Kai property and more specifically the unit we stayed in owned by Jill and Terry was absolutely incredible! I think it's rated as 4 stars, but clearly it was closer to 5 stars in our opinion. The description and photos on the unit were quite accurate. Jill was amazing with customer service and always helped us when needed. The amount of local information made available to us in the form of a very big binder or two in their condo was awesome. The condo unit was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We highly recommend a visit to Honolua Bay to go snorkling. It's only about a 15 minutes drive from the property, and worth the visit! It's a rocky beach, so leave the beach chairs at home and just take towels and snorkel equipment with you. Also, if you're a foodie, check out Roy's, about 5 miles south of Honua Kai. As well, Duke's is on the Honua Kai resort property and it's an awesome restaurant for drinks, lunch and dinner-highly recommend both Dukes and Roy's. We also went to the Old Lahaina Luau one night, and boy it was just amazing! Great entertainment and food. We would recommend this property to anyone, and have already done so with our friends.

“Great condo, Great Location!” Great condo, great location! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently returned home from a 10 day stay at Papakea G-407! I wish I could have stayed forever! The condo is in a great location convenient to several gorgeous beaches and a short drive to Lahaina town. We had all the conveniences needed to prepare meals in and enjoyed dinner on the lanai several evenings with a beautiful sunset! Anne provided a great deal of information on the area as well as helpful hints for shopping, sightseeing, etc. The grounds at Papakea are absolutely beautiful! There are two great pools as well as two large jacuzzis. We will definitely return to this condo on our next visit to beautiful Maui! Thank you, Anne and Wes for sharing your home with us! “Hideaway for Best Getaway” Location: We travelled all over the island, seeing every little nook and cranny. What we realized was that our home base, the "Hideaway" is ideally located on the island. You're centrally located between Kihei (our favourite town), the airport, Lahaina, et al. You're also near some of the best beaches around, including Sugar Beach, the one on which the Hideaway sits, which has one of the best views on all of the island. One suggestion is to stop to get supplies from one of the major grocers near the airport, when you first arrive, to get a firm base of what you need: beer, snacks, meat, veggies, etc. Then you can shop at the nearby general stores for convenience or 10 minute drive to Foodland for following shopping needs. Amenities: The "\Hideaway has everything you need to operate comfortably: dishes, utensils, bedding, beach supplies, cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, brand new oven/stove, brand new TV/sound system, etc. The balcony has the best view. The unit being on the second floor is great in that you get an elevated view but you're still quick to access parking or the pool by elevator or stairs. Facilities: The pool area is superior in its craftsmanship and comfort. It has the only Jacuzzi in the area. You wouldn't think something like this would be necessary in a hot area but it's amazing, especially in the hot, bright sun. One of, if not the biggest highlight about this building is its proximity to the ocean. Not only is there no road between your balcony and the ocean but you're so near to it that you can see the sea turtles floating by. Apparently this luxury of being so close to the ocean is not something you'll see anymore on Maui as they have changed their regulations so that buildings need to be built much further from the ocean. Owners: Accommodating to the max. Wendall and Sally only want you to have the best possible experience on Maui and in the Hideaway. I can't even go to the lengths at which Wendall went to make sure our stay was excellent, suffice to say that it couldn't have been as good without having them to help us out. Conclusion: If you can get in to the Hideaway, go with the opportunity and you will be happy you did.

“This Place Has Everything You're Looking for on Maui” We really enjoyed staying at Maui Kai 806. The setting suns and moons as well as the layout of the unit, and the extremely helpful staff (especially Rowena) made our stay wonderful. We would recommend this place to our closest friends and relatives. It is ideally situated with access to all that Maui has to offer. Close to terrific beaches (snorkeling, sunning, etc.), close enough to beautiful sightseeing around Maui, and access to wonderful Lahaina, this place is simply amazing. It was my first trip to Hawaii and definitely a 5 star stay. This place rocks!
