“Great view of ocean, beach or people watching on the boardwalk!” We are so happy we booked this unit! Great location! Condo was well laid out and we loved how the whole unit opened to the balconry with the collapsing glass doors. We highly recommend this for single person adventurer or romantic couples get away.

“We had a wonderful time!” The accomodations were great, other than the very small garage. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to have a week to do exactly what they want - enjoy the beach, go to tourist attractions, or just kick back, relax and do plenty of reading! The only real negative was the sun not coming out much. But we made the best of things and had a great time anyway.

“Positive Experience with Penny Realty” I have been renting with Penny Realty for 7 years. I use Penny Realty to book my summer vacation house at Mission Beach every year. I have used Penny to book single condos, houses, and an entire 4 unit condo. They are very professional, and accommodating. I have never had any problems with communicating with the agents. Last summer while we were on vacation we called the realty to see if we could get any bug spray because of the fruit flies. Not only did they bring bug spray, they had a maintenance guy literally scrub the trash cans and trash area with cleanser and bleach! We didn't even ask for that. On top of that the maintenance guy wasn't irritated. He wanted us to be happy. The pull out sofa beds could be a little more comfortable, but I think all pull out sofa beds are uncomfortable. I will continue to use Penny Realty for my future summer rentals. I already have Summer 2014 reserved. I have recommended Penny Realty to my Sister, and two of my cousins. They are return clients as well.

“Awesome beach house rental on the boardwalk.” My family and I rented all four units to this beach house for our summer vacation family reunion. It was everything we hoped for in our stay. The units are spacious, well kept and clean. Good size patio with bbq was just right. Penny Realty was attentive and fast responding if we needed anything like more propane for the bbq or when our wifi had a glitch. Their maintenance guy came out right away to help us get rid of the fruit fly pests that lingered out back. A wonderful rental property that is simple and quaint. Thanks Penny Realty for a great stay. We'll be back next summer!

“A Perfect Week!” We have rented homes all over Mission Beach in this price range, and this is far and away the best accommodation we have ever had. The view is spectacular. “Fantastic Rental!!” I had the pleasure of staying in this penthouse unit. I had a great stay. The place is clean and the lanlord is very easy to deal with. The views are spectacular of the San Diego skylinie, Coronado and the bay and centrally located next to downtown and balboa park. Both are within walking distance. I would definitly reccomend staying here on your next vacation.

“All the amenities of home with a bonus ocean out our door.” We stayed from Jan 14-21/15 and found our accommodations very comfortable, clean and spacious. We rented a car and found everything accessible within a maximum of 35min for our daily tours. This stretch of Imperial Beach is beautiful and quiet (the odd helicopter was training). Dealing with the owner Calie was a very positive experience and we would definitely stay again.

“Unique, Reasonable and Location, Location!” I just returned from spending a week at this place and the experience was great! From my college days in SD I knew this area/location and this bungalow did not dissapoint. Great for solo female travelers(very safe) or couples. In a quiet, quaint section with the beach on one side and the bay on the other.Furnishings are as described, everything you need is available to cook in or out,(patio is great for sitting out in the shade under the only palm trees on the block) To my fellow business travelers:stay here while attending a conference, a great break at the end of a long day with some vacation time too!

“A graceful "resort" vacation with a view” Shirley's condo is our favorite vacation destination on the west coast. We love the location for ease of access to all things San Diego. But we also love it because of the view of the bay. In the summer season, guests at her condo have premier exposure to the fireworks launched from Sea World. The condo is loaded with all a vacationer could possibly need, from pots and pans to hair dryers and beach chairs. The beds are super comfortable, too. As my husband says, at Shirley's condo on Bayside Walk we enjoy the pace of a sail boat on a calm day. While, just two blocks west, we can enjoy the busy-ness and happy zaniness of the beach boardwalk. Who could ask for more? But if you want more, there are great little spots to dine nearby and Shirley has many of them listed and reviewed in the renter's manual. Then there is free wi-fi so the visitor can surf the web to locate the best restaurants, the nightlife and the museums in all of San Diego. Stop searching now. You have found the best place to be!

“Great location and great patio” I used to live in LJ and was looking for a centrally located vacation rental to come back and visit and this was perfect! Great location- we walked everywhere!!! The patio is great and gets a nice breeze- we were cool in July! Plenty of furniture and a table for dinner outside. The property is older but charming, the living room furniture is very comfortable and newer, and the whole place is very very clean. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. There is parking for 1 car in the private driveway and our friends always managed to find street parking easily. The kitchenette has a mini-fridge, coffee pot, and a microwave as well as basic dishes. Great for couples and adults but not really small children due to the stairs and no full fridge (storage of milk). I would happily recommend this rental!

“A wonderful place to build memories” My wife and I recently stayed at the Crown Point beach house with our sons and their families. Spending this special time with our boys and the grand kids was enhanced by this beach house, which came completely equipped with more than we expected. “Love it when q plan comes together” Being a first time flip key user this worked out so well for me. Our trip had us in the downtown area and it was great because we could get to where we were going in 15 minuets. Also only 15 minuets or so to sea world. It was clean and safe and so nice to come back to after a long day. The owners were great and so easy to work with. I would definitely choose to stay again on another trip.
