“WONDERFUL TIME!” Property is beautiful....This is my second stay at the Palmyra and once again we had a wonderful time. This is a condo that is built on the most beautiful beach there is in Montego Bay, between the former Ritz Carlton and Hilton Rosehall hotels. We had views of both beach and mountains. I can still feel the tradewinds. Sharon, the owner is most gracious and the staff there was very attentive and accomodating. Thank you all, So, Sharon Im ready to book my vacation for Feb, 2015. “Jamaican Luxury that won't blow a budget!” If you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation that won't blow your budget, Villa de la Sable is the place. This two bedroom villa, located in Treasure Beach, sits above the water, affording you miles of view, of the Caribbean Sea. You'll be greeted by Petrina, your housekeeper and chef and Leandy, the grounds keeper an go to guy. Pop open a cold Red Stripe and enjoy the tour of your vacation retreat, with the smells of jerk chicken or lobster thermador tantalizing your hunger. The villa is a quaint two story with two bedrooms upstairs, sharing a balcony, overlooking the sea. Downstairs you'll find a good sized kitchen, large living space, dining area and a sitting place perfect for slapping some dominoes. Grab another Red Stripe and take a look around outside. The pool will blow you away, I mean, it's huge with great sitting areas all around and a deck below the pool level that is gigantic and a wonderful place to watch those incredible Jamaican sunsets. This place will make you pinch yourself more than once before the end of the week. Seriously! If there is one fault of this villa, it would be that swimming is not the best on the beach below but a great swimming beach is just a short walk away. If you are more into quiet and beautiful views, I just can't fault Villa de la Sable. Back to your hunger, Petrina is a wonderful chef and housekeeper. Her dishes are tasty and healthy Jamaican fare and will try to fill any requests you may have. Between meals and after, the house is very private. Treasure Beach is no Negril or Ochos Rios. It is a extremely friendly fishing village on the south coast. Anything you have heard about the hassles of Jamaica, are just not here. Please go out, walk down the road, say hi to strangers who will smile and respond with a friendly hello. Stop in a local bar and slap some dominoes with the locals, careful though, they are good! Buy some fresh roasted coffee from Miss Dawn at Smurfs Cafe. A week was not long enough!

“Peaceful Paradise” Sparkling Waters is an amazing place to stay. We have stayed there multiple times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this property. My favorite thing to do is relax on the pool deck overlooking the beautiful Carribean Sea. If you want to be adventerous there are plenty of day trips/tours to take. A trip to YS Falls is a must. Miss Petrina and Miss Tonarge will take wonderful care of you and your entire group. Rest assured you will have terrific time!

“Quiet, Crazy Wonderful” Dutura - Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, lush, green, roomy, comfortable, spacious! Dutura Staff - Amazing, kind, caretakers, fun, Great Cooks, great trainer, attentive, major attention to details that make you feel comfortable. Those are the words that describe this place. We were met with warmth and smiles. Chisholm took us to some great spots for Crazy adventures but really safe. Then home to an amazing staff that felt like family from day one! We stepped out of our comfort zones, we rested, we ate, we laughed, we Yogaed, we walked in beauty, we were challenged and we did not want to leave. Thank you Randel and Dutura for an experience we will never forget. We were the crazy 8's becoming indigenous! haha inside joke!

“Peaceful, accomadating, relaxing, no tourist hassels.” The area was extremely peaceful and the people who lived in the complex were very inviting and friendly. A short walk from the apartment to the coastline, you'll see very pretty and scenic views. From views of rocky coastline to quiet and private beaches, it was beatiful to take a stroll, catch some sunshine, and just relax with a homemade cockail from your fridge. If you have a vehicle, parking is convenient and the property is just a short drive to shopping, food, and entertainment. The foliage on the ground are well kept and neatly manicured. The only part of the hotel complex that still seemed to be in function was the pool area. Staying at this apartment was really like you were living on the island. A visit to the grocery store is a great idea so you can fill your fridge with necessary items or perhaps cook some local foods in the kitchen area as we did. There was plenty of sitting room for four as well as sleeping arrangements. Mr. Rose was just a phone call away from a cell phone he provided for convenience. He checked in frequently to make sure things were ok, and to see if there was anything we needed. The apartment had air conditioning as well as plenty of ventilation for fresh air if desired instead. There were absolutely no hassels on the beach from locals as you would experience on the seven mile beach, and the beaches weren't filled with tourists becasue of the isolation of this property. The waters on the waters on this area of the beach were clear and very little sea grass washing up from the ocean. We definately enjoyed ourselves for the apartment value and local non-tourist accomadations. Joyce was very attentive via email and responded to all questions and concerns regarding the booking in a timely manner. Be sure to arrange form of payments and confirm booking dates with Joyce before you leave and bring contact information when you arrive to call Mr. Rose...he'll be expecting you;)!
