“Family Reunion 2012” When I was 9 yrs old my whole family went on a beach trip. It was great. I was able to play with my cousins. We cooked out, and enjoyed each others company. Great memories. Last year my grandmother wanted us to relive that memory but with a new generation. Our children are the same age and everyone was able to attend. The house was fantastic. Having the pool and hot tub was a life saver. It was so close to the grocery store that our cookouts were a breeze. We enjoyed the area greatly. We even were able to have a photographer to meet us and have pictures on the beach. My grandmother said it was the best time of her life. She is 83. Thank you for helping us to make such a wonderful memory for us.

“Perfect spot for a winter retreat” Our group of friends wanted to do something different for the New Year holiday so we booked The Lodge. What a treat. Great house with the perfect layout for our entire group. Kitchen area was perfect area for all of us to gather at meal time. Tvs everywhere along with the pool table, fire place and hot tub gave everyone a place to have fun. Great view, perfect location. Only thing that could be better is if we came back during the summer. We'll be back for sure.

“Great house shame it's next to the highway” Beautiful house Excellent facilities Check in was so easy and appreciated after a long flight from the UK The only 2 negatives I have to say about this house are: 1. The location. I wish it didn't look directly onto the highway 2. There is no outdoor balcony, probably because of point 1! We had a great holiday and really enjoyed out stay here

“A Classy Vacation Experience in any Season” My brother, who has problems walking, and I stayed at Sunnybank for a little under a week in the early spring when the Corolla horses are foaling. The layout of the well-appointed, three-storey main building was perfect for our needs: the fabulous view from the top floor living room provided the inspiration for him to walk up the grand stair case, and he could take the elevator when he was having problems walking. (There are two bedrooms with walk-in showers to accommodate people who have a problem walking.) It rained the first two days, which might have been gloomy any where else, but the library of videos, and stashes of games and playing cards gave us the opportunity to connect in ways that we hadn't since we were children. The fabulous cook's kitchen and multiple eating areas can accommodate a wedding party, family reunion, or any get away time one might want. Mine was a working vacation and the office there, which is outfitted with excellent Ethernet and WiFi connections plus a daybed for napping, was a better arrangement than my office at home. Comfort and casual, yet classy ambience abounds at Sunnybank. An excellent find!

“Relaxing with the family” Carolina Breeze is a great family environment. The beach is 100 yards away and the bay is a block away. We went to the amusement area which is within walking distance. We spent more time at the pool and in the hot tub which is delightful. The house is really in a great area.

“A good vacation spot” The house was very large and nicely furnished. The dune deck was great and the pool large. The location was close to stores with pavements for bike riding. It was great to be able to get in early and have linens and towels provided.

“Beautiful, Amazing, clean and well stocked!” Gorgeous home, very clean, well stocked, and close to everything! We had Never been to the Outer Banks so naturally we were reluctant to find something On line. We found this house through Outer Banks Blue. There were 15 of us there for a full week. The house is much more beautiful than it looks on line. The pool is spacious and private. The beach is basically out the back door of the house. We loved the deck and the view couldn't be better. The owners supplied multiple items for guest use which was a huge plus. Thus house is well worth the money! Don't hesitate!

“Nice stroll to beach” We like location (i.e., proximity to stores, resturants, etc.). I bit of a hike to the ocean. House in good repair. Nice ammineties. Nothing negative, execept our 4pm checked in time, became nearly 5:30pm, as cleaners were behind schedule. Not enough to be an issue, but after being up 36 hours driving over night, sitting in car with Food Lion food for the week, minutes seem to tick slower. And finally, we had to replace the propane, empty upon arrival. Purchased first, called Outer Banks Blue, reimbursement check was sent to my house and in the mailbox when we arrived home! Nice.

“Great! location, amenities, accomdations. Everything you need fo” This was our third year at "Just for You" and that's exactly what it feels like, Just for Us! We love the little extras, the pool, hot tub and Pool Table and enjoy the large living areas and family spaces.There are also plenty of nooks for personal space and time apart. All around a wonderful property for an awesome getaway!

“Lovely southern home with all amenities” This is the second time I have stayed at Saltaire and is the first time with my husband and son. What a terrific time it was. This place is just incredible. From the private pool and hot tub to a massive "man cave" complete with pool table, foosball, darts and more. My husband turned into a kid again playing with my son into the wee hours of the morning. Above all else, because Saltaire is pet-friendly, we were able to take our two Porties with us who made those long walks on the beach the absolute best. I can't recommend Saltaire enough if you are looking for an exquisite place to "call home" while on vacation in the Outer Banks!

“We have rented many nice homes in Outer Banks, but Sea Song II i” As usual, the service we received from Outer Banks Blue was great. The house was beautifully appointed and was equipted with everything we could possibly want or need. The only thing we did not like about the vacation was the beach. It had undergone restoration. The sand was deep and difficult to walk on. The natural sand bars were nonexistent making surfing impossible. We would love to rent the house again but won't because of the beach. On the positive side, We enjoyed the pier being so close.

“Family fun in or out of the sun.” We brought our entire family here for the second year in a row. There were six grandchildren and the oldest was five. All together, the grandchildren, their parents and my wife, added up to 14 people. We had a wonderful time. We walked to the beach across the street where we flew kites, swam, played ball, and enjoyed the late afternoons there every day. When the beach was too hot we enjoyed the pool and the hot tub that came with the house. The kids enjoyed movies the day it rained as there was a DVD player in each bedroom. We brought plenty of movies We had a wonderful week, sharing the cooking and enjoying all that the outer banks has to offer.

“Oct 2012 Vacation” We have stayed in this house previously when it was only 2 years old. It is a great house with lots of room and amenities. We had a wonderful time here and would love to return. However, there were a few things that could be improved upon. There were some cleaning issues which could easily be taken care of. There were also some torn screens that could easily be taken care of. The tvs and electronics were outdated and the dvd player wouldn't work with them. These could be updated inexpensively, considering the price of an in-season rental. The most pressing issues with the house was the stove. One of the burners didn't work and the oven door did not close tight. This issue cause the fire alarm to go off repeatedly when using the oven. As you can imagine, it wasn't the easiest job to cook for 11 people with these problems. All in all, if these problems were addressed directly, we would love to stay here again. The location is excellent. Close to everything we wanted to do and you had the beach all to yourself!!

“Fabulous layout of the house. Great pool” The house layout was wonderful for a big family like ours. It does need some updates such as: carpet, sliding doors, stove. It was clean and wonderful. The pool was the best feature to this house. We also enjoyed the deck on the top level. We did have a problem with the air conditioner the last evening we were there. Upon calling the numbers given to us, we were told that there were three calls ahead of us and that they probably would not be able to attend to our problem. Really? Other than that the service was fine.

“Incredible Beach house with perfect Location!!” We cant say enough about our week at the Castle by The Sea! The house is expansive, gorgeous and beautifully decorated for that perfect beach house. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious and was wonderful to cook in. The house is very spacious with many rooms for a large group to have privacy if they wanted to have their own time. It was great having the private pool and hot tub. Hearing the waterfall is also very soothing. Each bedroom had a perfect view of the ocean, and hearing the waves at night would gently lull us to sleep. The bathrooms also had a wonderful jacuzzi tub that you could relax and watch the ocean waves roll in. Very calming! After experiencing this incredible home and being so close to the ocean, it's definitely oceanfront going forward. The walk to the beach is perfect having it's own walkway. Before you get to the beach, there is some great seating that you can sit and just enjoy watching the waves. Also has a bathroom and shower at the walkway so that you don't even have to come into the house to use the restroom while you're at the beach. We cannot wait to come back again next year and hopefully convince more family to make the drive and come. I highly recommend this house. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made our stay very relaxing which is what I needed.
