“Breathtaking” This rustic cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Being up on the mountain we were out of the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to venture out if we wanted to. The views from the porch were spectacular, especially as the sun came up, which you can watch from the comfort of the bed through a large window! The inside of the cabin is charming, with all of the comforts home including a full kitchen, bathroom with a stand up shower. The cabin was quiet and despite the owner, George being upstairs we felt alone. George is a great host! He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a quick tour of the cabin and best spots for pictures when we arrived. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer! We will be going back. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quiet, secluded, cozy place to escape in the mountains.

“Huge house, excellent location” The house is very well maintained and beautiful inside out. I stayed with my girlfriend for the weekend in June. It is close to Asheville and just few minutes from Lake Lure & Chimney rock. The house has 3 BR and 2bath which can easily accomodate 3 couples(6 people). It has good size Samsung TV that one can watch movies on with a glass wine in the living room. I recommend to take your tablet and chromecast so you can stream movies on the TV. I 100% recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a getaway in the mountains or the Lake. I will definitely stay here agan and will recommend all my friends.. Melanie(the owner) is easy/fast to get in touch with via text/phone, although we didn't had any issue to contact her but as soon as I entered the house, I was so impressed that I texted to thank her and she replied back immediately:-).

“Awesome view, great value” We spent 3 nights at the cabin and loved it. We had a bit of trouble figuring out that the street that has a sign calling it E. State Street is Old US 70, but once we figured that out, we got the hang of finding our way to the cabin. I wouldn't suggest making the drive for the 1st time in the dark. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back porch every day for the amazing sunset. Despite having only 1 bedroom, the cabin feels bigger due to the open kitchen/dining/living space. We didn't cook but the appliances and kitchen seemed well equipped. I did have to contact the owner because I couldn't get the tv to display any channels. Unfortunately he didn't return my call (I left a voicemail) and I called again the next day. When I reached Larry the next day, he put me in touch with a local caretaker and I was able to resolve the issue over the phone. It might be helpful for the owner to leave a back up local number if for some reason you can't reach him. In this case, it was a minor issue so no problem. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin as it is exactly as described.

“Perfect!” This was the perfect place for just the 2 of us! It had everything we needed and more. Stan and Diane are wonderful hosts and do a fantastic job making sure you have everything including info that you will need. You will never know they are there but theyre only a phone call away! I will stay here next time!!

“vacation” great place to stay they make you feel at home the room was spacious with its on private bathroom everyday the owners put out breakfast with a special home cooked breakfast on weekends the dogs and flowers are beautiful you can climb the mountain from there backyard it’s 30 minutes into town where you can find things to do and places to eat

“Awesome!! Great view and warm cabin! A Christmas we won't forget” We loved our Christmas in this cabin! It has plenty of room and an awesome view. The view in the fall would be breathtaking. It was very clean. This cabin had everything we needed. Even hot tea and hot chocolate for christmas eve! It has the beauty of the mountains but it's not far from downtown Murphy and Lake Hiawassee. But if there is ice or snow, you would have a hard time getting in and out. No TV in greatroom. Tv watching will have to be done in the full basement. But it's really beautiful down there. Pull out sofas are uncomfortable. We recomend Mountain Country Cabin Rentals. And Triple Ridge Chalet did not dissappoint us!

“Just a Great Place” We got to the cabin and were tired, we got ready to make coffee and realized we would have to go to the store to get some cream. Opened the fridge an Muffi had stocked some cream (Moo Moo Minis). I tell this story because it is the way things seemed to go for the next few days. So many of our needs were met and anticipated. The "eye candy" of the cabin was just grand, the craftsmanship superb, windows in unusual places, high quality windows, and very clean, very quiet neighborhood, easy parking, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore. Very nicely done, As Arnold S. says "I'll be back"

“Perfect mountain vacation house” This vacation house is the best I ever stayed in. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a TV in every room and pool table in the basement, you have everything you need for a perfect vacation in the mountains. John was a gentlemen, easy to deal with. He provided us with a good breakfast and a pizza upon our arrival. It has a water fountain in the kitchen with enough water to last for at least a month. Simply the house was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. The location is perfect as well, not to far from the main road but not to close to be bothered by passing cars. From the bottom of our hearts, John, we thank you for a memorable vacation.

“Hidden Gem” Stumbled upon Reva's place just looking last minute for accommodations for the night, but we found so much more. The property is gorgeous, not too far outside of Asheville but far enough away to see every star in the sky. The animals were a fun touch and the trails around the property were great. She offers a ton of spiritual healing packages that I'd like to come back and take advantage of, the only thing we used was the hot tub that was tucked away on the property and was wonderful to watch the stars at night. Would definitely recommend!

“My home away from home!” I'm a repeat customer at Green Mountain. I first visited July, 2008 and have been back 2-3 times a year since. I've stayed in both cabins depending on my needs. Landen is a wonderful hostess and makes me feel right at home. My dog Frankie often accompanies me and loves it there. The fenced 3 acre pasture where he can run may have something to do with that. The cabins have all the comforts necessary for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The kitchens are fully equipped so you don't have to go anywhere if you don't want to. The location is very convenient to Hendersonville and asheville. I love it here and try to stay as often as I can get away.

“Unbelievable location and did so many things at this unique cabi” Easy to check in and out. The outside and inside look even better in person. The way it was designed & decorated was so creative with all the small touches around the cabin. Very clean throuhout the cabin and on the outside. The location was perfect. Anything you could ever want to do: Golfing, hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, canoeing, and site seeing. At the community center you can even play volleyball, basketball and other activities. They have 24 hour security in this gating community with partrol cars. I loved the fire pit in the backyard of the cabin and it has the biggest loft I have ever seen. You could walk out the cabin and start hiking on the trails. River in the back and a huge lake steps away. I'm so glad that we decided on this cabin for our vacation. Thank you very much to the River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
