“We'll be back!” If you're looking for someplace with attentiveness to all the details and more, Ele's Escape is it! Pet-friendly was my first clue it would be wonderful. But I had no idea the food would be so spectacular, the guest room filled with unexpected fun and comfort ( think amazing chocolate, homemade cookies, soft robes and lots more...). The bed was soo soft and cozy, the ocean within view and a 1 minute walk and the hosts incredible. Informative, welcoming and fun, they are some of the best we've experienced. “Spectacular wilderness get away...refreshing” I was vacationing along with 5 family members from all across Canada. We arrived after a beautiful scenic drive from Calgary to be welcomed by Barbara in a way that we felt home, safe and amoung family. The log cabins are spectacular, very clean and everything you need to be comfortable. The view from every window was breathtaking and different and even when the cows come visiting you are happy to see them. The cabins are located off the main highway near Lumby BC but not to the point of feeling isolated. The drive up the mountain to Bear Valley is breath taking and exciting, up-down and around but more than worth the climb. We spent a week of what I would call inner peace and tranquility just having fun with each other, nights of non-stop talking and laughing, running into the cabin when suspicious noice heard by side of the cabin or miserious noices coming from the meadows. Life is good in the wild. Then came Barbara on two occassions with wonderful homemake cake which we all fought for the last morsels. Barbara & Jurgen her husband made us feel like one of the family giving us greens from their organic garden and the pleasure of meeting Wanya their dog who also made our stay that much more memorable(visited on a day basis). If getting away from computer/cell phones and spending memorable time making wonderful memories with loved ones this is the place... Thank you Barabara ans Jurgen and my family will definitely be back in the near future.

“romantic” We stayed for two nights to celebrate our 41st anniversary. The cottage was right on the water,very clean, and decorated beautifully - glorious fireplace - which Nanae had already set up for us (thank you!). Though we did not cook - had we wanted to, everything was available in the kitchen. The whole setting was breathtaking - and though we were not fortunate enough to see any whales - we did see an otter and two magnificent eagles fly by. The whole island is a romantic destination. If I could have wished for just one thing, it would have been to have a hot tub so we could have "bubbled" under the incredible blanket of stars.

“Well appointed, convenient location.” Market Square was a great location, close to groceries, restaurants, shopping,coffee shops, free shuttle, Olympic Plaza and liquor store. Building was very secure and free parking convenient to unit. Unit was well laid out and kitchen was well equipped with every thing needed for our stay. Excellent entertainment system. Gas fireplace, drying rack very useful. Lots of shelves and hooks. New dishwasher :). Nice hot tub. Dave was an awesome host who was very responsive and helpful to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

“A Forest Bungalow!” My family and I had a great time at Ptarmigan, Big Mountain-Whitefish, MT. We did it all! Went to Glacier National Park, enjoyed Big Mountain, toured the town and relaxed in the hottub! Our favorite part was making meals in a house in the woods. It was so magical being surrounded by cedar trees on a mountainside. Thanks for the memorable stay!

“Bliss!” You won't be disappointed with this lovely condo. The view is spectacular with amazing sunrises and sunsets, the fresh scent of sea air and the accomodation is terrific. There's lots of room to spread out and enjoy. This was our second year at this condo and we decided that we'll be regular visitors year after year - it's just that good! We find that we can't help but unwind and relax here and each visit we plan to spend at few days on site (instead of venturing out) taking in the sea, relaxing beside the pool or having a swim and beach combing! Roz has thought of everything in the unit so you just need to bring your personal effects and you'll be well taken care of. The unit is very clean, beds and pillows are comfortable and there's no traces of pets from previous visits. The complex is very well maintained with a playground for the little ones, tennis court, several patios with Weber bbqs for everyone to use, pool and hot tub, poolside lounge chairs as well as tables and chairs, firepit, dock for your boat or perhaps fishing, even a herb garden. Looking forward to next year already!

“Exceptional rental home. My family and I enjoyed our stay.” My family and I stayed in this incredible home for a few weeks. It is truly is a magnificent rental and the views really are incredible. This place exceeded our expectations and we found it to be an exceptional value. We were in a perfect location (close to both Kelowna and Vernon) overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the golf courses in the area while my older children ventured out boating on the lake. My wife and I also set a few hours aside for ourselves to relax at one of the Spa the owner recommended. Our stay was absolutely everything we were expecting and more! We will be returning to this lovely place again in the future and we have already spoken with the home owner to reserve our dates for next year...we were actually thinking that we would like to keep this our little secret but you know how it is when sometimes a secret is just to wonderful not to share. This is a perfect place and if you have the time don't miss a visit to the areas wineries. The Okanogan Valley in all of its splendor and beauty!
