“Perfect place to stay!” My daughter and I stayed in this studio condo for a little over a week and it was perfect. It's right on the beach, I fell asleep every night to the sound of the ocean; pure heaven! We had no issues finding the place thanks to Joe and his well organized maps and directions. Joe even sent us information we requested for our stay on the island. I never felt safer than this place, it was a good feeling being that it was just my teen daughter and I. The studio provided every comfort we could require for a home away from home and the decor was pefect (bright and cheery) for a stay on the ocean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows (one of my necessities when I travel). You don't need to bring any beach towels so you can save the precious space in your suitcase to bring back souvenirs! The laundry is $2 a wash and dry so it's kind of pricey but it was nice to have the facility. I cannot tell you how much money we saved by not having to pay resort fees and parking; not to mention the hotel costs in the area for this prime location. The Marriott was right across the street and you can use their pool for a fee but why use a pool when the beach is right there! There is a Walgreen's a block away and it has everything you would need (even light grocery's). Traveling the island is easy. I rented a car and had no problem getting around with my Garmin I brought along. We went to every part of this island except the SouthWest part. We scuba, snorkeled, hiked, rappelled, and ziplined. You must visit Culebra and spend time on Flamenco beach, bring your snorkel gear,visit the history in Ponce, visit the fort and spend some time in Old San Juan. The food is cheap if you get out of Condado. There's some great restaurants a few minutes south in Guavate. Buy some fruit on the side of the road if you travel out of San Juan and support the locals, it's cheap and oh so good. We will definitely be back and stay at this condo. “A relaxing holiday set on a gorgeous bay in Jamaica.” My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Le Mer. The owners, Karin and Coleman were attentive and accommodating throughout our stay. For a reasonable price Karin picked us up at the airport and took us to the Mega Mart in Montego Bay to get supplies for our week long stay. Karin, for a reasonable price also took us into Lucea for a needed stop at the aTM, to beautiful and exciting Mayfield Falls (quite an adventure); Half-moon Bay and our transfer to Negril. Le Mer is ideal for a quiet getaway in a tropical setting. It's location on the ocean is great for snorkelling in the sheltered bay in front of the property. Ocean access is easy with a ladder or you can jump or dive right in! The coral is in good shape and recovering. We saw some smaller fish, octopi and cuttlefish but no bigger fish. There are also two nice beaches at Bull's Bay, a 10 minute walk up the road. You can pick up a cold red strip after your swim at a small shop nearby! This beach is safe and used by friendly locals. The bedrooms are huge and have a private balcony. The ensuite bathrooms have generous amounts of hot water provided form solar energy. Spacious living areas are available and a great place to meet other travellers. The mosaic tiled bar separating the kitchen from the other common areas proved to be a favourite place to sit and chat with new friends. The tables in the dining room are quite unique, look handcrafted and are a comfortable place to dine with a wonderful view of the sunset over the Bay. The large, well kept pool was a favourite spot to catch the morning breeze and a refreshing dip at any time of the day! This place is ideal if you are travelling as a larger group as you could occupy one or both of the two villas. The dogs which provide security are friendly and we enjoyed their company. They are well behaved and can be tethered if you are uncomfortable around them. In summary; great value for the money, a safe, secure environment; at a Beautiful location

“Lovely apartment, amazing hosts!” Had a wonderful stay for 4 weeks in Utila at Jerico Gardens, Jo and Tony saw that all of our needs were met and were helpful with anything additional we needed to know. The apartment was in a great location 10 minutes walk from the main street and out of the way of any rowdiness going on in town! The apartment is situated in beautiful gardens, and has air con and good wifi. Excellent and would recommend.

“Awesome Rooftop Condo in Perfect Playa location!” I had rented a condo one other time in Playa and I have to say the one thing that made this rental better was the personal response of the owner himself. Not only was the condo a great place but the owner made sure that the rental process was just as great. Ron was extremely helpful and supplied us with everything we needed to have the very best vacation experience. I would definitely rent Casa Dorothea again! The location of the condo is in the heart of Playa. Within walking distance to so many places including the Mega grocery store and Walmart. We had a private rooftop which is another huge asset. An awesome experience all around!

“La Quinta amada is delightful. One of the very best.” Finding La Quinta amada on the web was great good luck. It was everything the website described and really even better. Staying there was a highlight of a great trip to Mexico City, Teotihuacan, and Tlaxcala. I stayed in first class hotels in Mexico City and Teotihuacan but most enjoyed La Quinta amada. It is a perfect location to make day trips throughout the area to major archeological, historic, and natural sites. I went also to climb La Malinche and Cuatlapanga and the views of the mountains from La Quinta amada were inspiring. Tlaxcala itself is very interesting and La Quinta amada is a good location to walk to Tlaxcala and there is easy access to all forms of public transportation. It is set off the main road and so more peaceful. The building and garden are beautiful and the public spaces are very fine for relaxing. There are many ammenities and a good library. The individual rooms are light and airy and beautifully decorated. Everything is immaculately clean. Much thought has gone into every practical and aesthetic detail with consideration of providing a guest with comfort and an experience of the cultural treasures of Mexico. The hosts have a personal ties to Tlaxcala and a great knowledge of the area. To the degree a guest wishes, they are very pleased to provide detailed information about the area and help in navigating all practical matters. I had planned a rather rigorous trip and returning each evening to La Quinta amada was a pleasure. My experience of Tlaxcala was greatly enriched by my host's generosity and consideration. I hope to visit again. I have stayed in a variety of lodgings in the U.S., Mexico, South america, and Europe. La Quinta amada is one of my favorites.

“Everything and more when you are looking only for the best!” Upon my first communication with the Puerto Vallarta Beach Club I could tell I was dealing with a different level of service. To start, my emails and countless phone calls were addressed quickly and efficiently. The pre-planning and preparation for my arrival by the staff was addressed with the upmost care, promptness and without hesitation. I honestly felt no request was too small. Could this be for real? Yes, and read on to find out why I have so much to say about this property. With my arrival expectations were high. Immediately I was warmly greeted by the Head Houseman and much of the staff. I was then given the option to a welcoming drink by the pool or to start off with a tour of the property. I opted for both and was amazed at the lush vegetation, pristine pool, and well maintained property - all of which, obviously, have never been neglected or unattended too. I can say, during the week I was there I never even found a scuff mark on a wall. The numerous staff always greeted us personally and their eagerness to make sure we had what we needed made us wish we never had to leave. Included were our personal chefs to cook every meal to our specifications (dietary restrictions with some guests). Laundry was washed, ironed and promptly returned at the end of day. The housekeepers didn't miss a spot. The pool side attendants were on hand to make any drink requested or notify the chef if we were ready for a snack. The concierge was always eager to schedule any events or spa treatments we needed that day or the next. Truly, the staff is well trained and enjoys providing the level of service that they do. The Puerto Vallarta Beach Club exceeded my expectations and I have already secured dates to return.
