“Gorgeous views, Family friendly, Pet friendly beach house” This was a wonderful place to spend the Christmas holiday at with extended family. Our tweens really enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Watching the tides come in and out and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets was lovely.

“VIEW, VIEW, VIEW - Absolutely stunning! It made us speechless, which hardly ever happens!” The first thing that struck us was the amazing wraparound view from almost all the big windows. Cozy cottage with 2 fireplaces! We brought some of our children and grandchildren. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The upstairs was a nice surprise with view of ocean and a fireplace! It worked perfectly for our son, his wife and 2 daughters. We took the downstairs bedroom (also with a view), with one son in the other bedroom. We had the best time playing in the sand and surf, exploring tide pools, walking on the beach, flying kites, and visiting the acquarium in nearby Newport. There are plenty of restaurants close by, but we did a lot of cooking and loved having a bar-b-q and space to cook our own meals. It was one of our best trips EVER!

“**Psst! Hidden gem that's pet-friendly!” This was our second stay at Pop's Cabin/Cottage and it is our favorite place to relax. Looking for amazing ocean views? This little place has 180 degree view of the mighty Pacific. Perfect place for storm watching! Very well stocked kitchen with amazing coffee and everything you could possibly want. Very quaint with new furniture, wood burning fireplace (wood provided!) This is a little hidden gem that we are so thankful to have found. Great environmentally conscious owner provides fair trade locally roasted coffee that is delicious. I can't say enough about how much we love this cottage.

“Family beach trip” After over a year of social distancing and self-isolation our family decided to take a much needed break at the beach. Our criteria was a little daunting, 3 bedrooms, some ocean view, pet-friendly a decent kitchen and a hot tub. This place was that and more. There was plenty of space and activities including a great fire pit foosball, air hockey, barbecue and pool table. The yard was great for our dogs to run and play without worry of escape on our part. The house is quirky and dated but very clean and well supplied. The ocean view is good, a little distant but we were able to see and hear the waves which was great. The walk to the beach took about 15 minutes and we would recommend shoes not flip flops but the beach is great once you get there. The location feels very private but you are very close to a wide variety of amenities. Steve was very quick in responding to questions before and during our stay and when we couldn't find foosballs he was kind enough to bring some by (however for future renters, tilt the table towards the window and you may find some!) We would stay there again for sure.
