“Great condo” I'd recommend this condo to everyone. It is close to the only elevator in the complex so that's good. Only complaint is the pool location -- across the parking lot from the building.

“Perfect Stay!” Spacious rooms, king size luxury beds, 5 flat screen TV's, extra nice beach chairs, Internet, unlimited free DVD rental. Beautiful full kitchen. This condo was perfect for our family. Both our teens were thrilled. Great Beach! Hope to return next year to the same location.

“Nice Place” Our experience with this property was good. The only complaint that we had was the air conditioner did not seem to keep the Condo cool enough. We could never get the Temp below 72 degrees and we made sure we kept the patio doors closed at all times. The last 2 days the water pressure was horrible. But overall it was a good stay.

“Great Accommodations!” Booked a last minute extended weekend in Fort Walton Beach. Was a little worried, as I usually plan these things months in advance. This was my first time using Brooks & Shorey and my first stay at Gulf Dunes. Very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. The management personnel was on-site, so I didn't have to roam around looking for their office. The lady who checked me in could not have been more helpful! She explained everything to me in detail and even provided me with directions to local markets. The condo was extremely clean, affordable and beachfront - which was the best part! Unfortunately, mother nature did not cooperate, but it was still nice to get away! The amenities were awesome ... free umbrella/chair set up (which usually costs about $25 a day, free movie rental, golf, etc. I am already thinking about when I can get back to the beach, and would recommend Gulf Dunes to anyone looking for a place to vacation in Fort Walton!

“Fort Walton Beach Vacation August 2013” We had a great time. Lots of fun swimming in the pool, relaxing, and playing in the sand at the beach. Many great restaurants for dining and stores for shopping.

“Not favorite unit” This was not our favorite unit in this complex. We have stayed at Emerald Towers West almost annually over the the last few years and preferred all the other units to this one. Everything was okay, but we like other units better. Our air conditioner went out, but was replaced immediately. The flooring needs to be updated, and all the units would be better with heavier, light-blocking drapes on the bedroom windows that face the parking area. As always, all the staff were nice and professional and responded to our requests quickly and efficiently. The beach service is always a nice bonus and the young men who serve the Emerald Towers West area are courteous and always friendly and helpful.

“Wonderful vacation” The location of this property is great. The view from the balcony is awesome. The beach service is great especially not having to set up a tent each day - love the umbrella and chair service. The condo was nice but the bedroom furniture could use a little updating-possibly some new mattresses. Overall, our vacation was wonderful and relaxing.

“beautiful beach/condo!” Everything was as pictured....beautiful! We enjoyed our stay; the unusual thing was that the smoke alarm woke us @2:15am. We found nothing wrong, apparently it was only our unit. Reported to the front desk the next day and was offered to have batteries changed. Please have checked to avoid additional issue.

“It was okay” The people who stayed in the condo above us were super loud, even after we called management, they were just ridiculously loud. Didn't like that you have to drive down the street to rent the DVD's that are included with the stay, to offer free DVD rental would mean the DVD kiosk is in your Hotel. The room had barely enough plates and bowls for the amount of people allowed to stay in the room, not enough cups. You literally have to was dishes everyday.

“Brooks and shorey were so nice and made everything easy” We had a great time staying at Emerald Towers West. Everything we needed was there. Very clean and well stocked. I will be going through Brooks and Shorey again in the future. I've rented from individuals before and some have been very hateful to us in the past. This was a most pleasant experience. “Great place to stay” We have stayed at Pelican Isle every year since it was built and love the location. It is out of the heavy traffic over in Destin but only about 8 minutes to Destin and all of the great places to eat like Harbor Docks. Will be back next year.

“Adorable Condo! Great view! Perfect family vacation!” We stayed here at the end of July and our only complaint was the really gross water. Usually the water is gorgeous but with all the storms in July it was dark, murky and full of seaweed. But the unit was gorgeous and clean and absolutely charming. We could hear people on either side of us when they would run up and down their condos which got annoying but you can't expect total quiet in the summer at the beach. ;) The washing machine got pretty loud during its spin cycle so we tried to only use that during the day so we wouldn't disturb our neighbors. But everything was great and we'd definitely rent this unit again! :)

“nice” condo was very nice we had lots of room for everyone. the washer and dryer being in the bedroom was odd. the cleaning ladies need to check all bathroom drawers we found tobacco poured out in one to the bathrooms drawers that should have been cleaned up a few dishes that was not clean and put in the cabinet but our overall stay was great.We will be back

“Relaxation perfection!” Great beachfront condo overlooking the pool in small building with covered parking for 1 car. Lovely furniture on the balcony, the bistro chairs allowed great views of the beach. This small condo was perfect for 4 of us enjoying some relaxation time. More wine glasses would have been nice, there were some small tumblers that sufficed, but I think that more than 2 wine glasses in a condo for 6 could be expected! Plenty of tea/coffee mugs though!!!! Pool was nice, stayed on the beach mostly. Enjoyed our stay very much.
