“comfortable and convenient” We recently spent a long weekend at the Purple Parrot for an impromptu family reunion. We chose Yosanmine 10ad for its location near the pool and its proximity to Jump Up 5ad, where the rest of our family stayed. We ate meals and relaxed in 5ad, but during the time we spent in 10ad, we found it to be well equipped, comfortable, nicely decorated, and convenient for our purposes. The bed is firm, which we appreciated. My only recommendation is for the bathroom towels to be upgraded. They were thin and needing to be replaced. The management company is stellar, and we really appreciated the personal attention, friendliness, and responsiveness of the staff. The weather was great during our visit in the first week of October and we especially enjoyed being poolside in the glorious mornings.

“Beautiful and "home away from home" feel!” The pool area was breathtaking. :)) We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, and the convenience of the washer and dryer to wash beach and bath towels was wonderful. The condo was spacious and very comfortable. Th beds were extremely comfortable, and had plush linens and pillows. The carpet throughput the upstairs could stand to go...and the tub in the master would be tricky and uncomfortable for some...also had mildew stains... Overall really great stay

“Enjoyed!!” This place served us well for our needs. We would stay there again. The gated community was nice and the pool area was wonderful. The place was clean and ready for our check in and didn't have any problems. The bed in this unit lacks in the comfort department. It really shoudl be replaced. Other than that it was perfect for our short stay with our boys.

“Great condo!” We really enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrott. The condo was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. They even had Netflix. The kitchen was very well equipped...including a blender and crockpot. It was a short walk to both pools and the gym. The outdoor pool was wonderful and had plenty of lounge chairs. We loved being able to take our own drinks to the pool. The beach was less than a mile away. This was the first time we had not stayed directly on the beach, but it was a much better bargain than a hotel room. We would definitely stay here again.

“Very relaxing” We very much enjoyed our stay. All the comforts of home right there at your fingertips. The resort had a laid back feel that contributed to the overall vacation experience. Close beach access made it all the more convenient.

“Repeat Customer!” Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parrot-Dise. The staff was very friendly. The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything we needed to eat in and relax. The pool was best of all! Our boys spent most of their time there. We liked best the relaxing atmosphere and that our cottage was so close to the pool. We liked least the squeaky bed in the master bedroom, which was really not that big of deal to us. Overall, we loved it!

“Purple Parrot: Ocean Melodie” How great was this home! We went down for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We have family living in Pensacola and used the fully equipped kitchen to cook a turkey dinner for 10 people. The complex is not on the beach but it is only a two block walk. You can still here the waves crashing on the shore at night while enjoying the large screened in porch or the walkout balcony off the master bedroom.thisnis a two story unit so not good for anyone who can't climb stairs. The complex has a heated indoor pool with hot tub, dry sauna and gym. We used the pool/hot tube every day. The outdoor pool area is a resort paradise with waterfalls and bar. The outdoor season was over so the bar was closed and the pool was too cold to enjoy but we did use the outdoor hot tub! A word of advice, make sure you go to Hub Stacie for dinner. Best food, best atmosphere and best. The Tanger's Outlet Center is 20 minutes away so bring an extra suitcase for all the great shopping you will do. In the summer there are plenty of farmer's markets for fresh fruits and vegetables. Enjoy! You will not regret picking this unit or this complex.

“Wonderful Cottage -- Unless it rains 17 inches!!!” We loved 18C and Purple Parade. The location near the pristine beaches and glassy green water of Johnson Beach were perfect. And what a deal ... $8 pass for a week. We went to the beach with lifeguards and those without. We loved it. We had a couple of small glitchesn with the condo, mainly trying to use the ice maker... but the decore and extras provided were great. The giant was great, but suggest you leave instructions on how to use the shower. the most features were above great! Leda at the management got us into the place with only a few hours notice. Only negative was when we faced the record breaking rain on the morning we were leaving. They knew next to nothing about the evacation or driving dangers. Waiting 4 hours for the rain to slow so we could load our car... water was over the second step and pouring our of the sky like an open faucet

“Beautiful Beachy Condo” We loved staying in room 912. Had everything we needed for the week, the view from our balcony was great. Kitchen had everything in case you wanted to cook. We were very pleased & would stay again.

“Satisfied” Cottage is nice and well decorated. Enough room for 2. Back door view is of the pool pumps and equipment but it isn't loud or distracting. Could not get internet service to work - didn't have password for router. Iron was horrible. I was there on business so this was important to me.

“Comfortable, Very Clean, Quiet & Relaxing!!” Great stay that exceeded expectations. All the amenities were exactly as stated on the website. The unit felt like a home away from home. All that is required is to unpack and bring in groceries. We enjoyed the beach chairs and beach umbrella. The restuarants nearby were wonderful. We already reccomended this location to a friend.

“Relaxing!!” Great hospitality,and located only minutes from main attractions.Home has nice accomodations and we look forward to returning to the resort soon.

“Great place” Water is shallow and beach is clean. Place was spacious and clean. Great location near the gulf. Must stay with kids

“Very delightful and restful” Service was excellent. Home was well stocked with cooking and cleaning goods. More channels on the TV would be good, and teh wifi worked well.

“Great Week-End” We have a grandchild in the Navy and this rental works very well for the Pensacola area. Our last 4 visits we have stayed in a hotel which does not work as well as renting this condo did for all involved. This rental allowed kids to come to us so it was more like a vacation for them as well. Condo was clean and well stocked for our needs. Area was very nice and close to lots of things to do.

“Nice Condo - Ocean View From 2nd Floor” Pleasant and helpful staff. Very accommodating. The condo was clean and well maintained. Both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. The outdoor pool is quite scenic with its own waterfall. The only thing more I could have asked for would have been a large flat screen TV (the condo only had a standard TV - not HD). They offer a military discount.

“It was like walking into a friend's home.” The condo has a wonderful view of the gulf. It was just what we were looking for to just relax. Perfect for a couple or a small family with the bunk beds being so close to the bathroom & parents bedroom. I have never had such nice thick towels furnished for me in a motel/hotel. God willing we will be back! The $80.00 cleaning fee we thought was a little high. Hope the person that cleaned appericated how clean we left it.

“Thanksgiving Stay” What a vacation. We came to Pensacola to spend the holiday with our son who is in the Marines. Our stay at the bungalow was so very relaxing. I was very pleased with how clean and comfortable the rental was. The only thing I would do different is get one with a screened in porch. I wanted to sleep with the door open but was afraid the raccoons would come visit. Being close to the beach was also nice. I do wish there was a better view of the water, but I read three books and enjoyed the birds.

“Excellent place to stay” We had an absolutely fantastic time at The Purple Parrot. We came for a week to visit our son at NaS. The location was 10 minutes from the back gate making visitation easy. We were also close to Johnson Beach and a short drive to Pensacola Beach. One of our nicest surprises was how close we were to the Gulf Shores and all of the activities there. We found the Gulf shores much nicer than Pensacola Beach itself. The Purple Parrot had everything we wanted and more. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic and the hours of operation were great. We did a late check in with no problem and check out was so easy. The staff at The Purple Parrot was always more than willing to help. The staff at Perdido Key Resort Management went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Our experience with The Purple Parrot and Perdido Key Resort management was one of the best experiences we have ever had. I would highly recommend both of them to anyone.

“Laid Back November Vacation” We stayed at Boogie Man in November, visiting our son, who was attending school at NaS Pensacola. Unit is in a good location with ample parking right out front and only steps from the indoor pool and gym. Easy drive over to the beach with a couple of nearby public parking lots. The unit was spacious,comfortable and nicely decorated. Good internet connection was nice. Would like to see a few additions to the kitchen like "normal size" bowls and cups. The front screened porch was nice but the plastic furniture should be upgraded. My wife pointed out that the master bed was quite soft. Overall, wWe would gladly pick the unit when we are back in the area.

“Great” Location is great. It put us in the middle of every where we wanted to go..We spent time in both states...Beach area at park was best I'D ever been at.Peachy keen was perfect...Had Evert thing we needed or wanted...Oh, one thing missing, A pot big enough for the crab legs we bought to cook that night. Dinner ended up great and enjoyed eating them on our screened in porch watching it rain...We loved it.

“Awesome, I know that this word is over used, but everything was” This was our third stay at The Purple Parrot and each time we love it more than the last. From the fantastic service, to the location, to the accomadations; we can always count on everything being extremely positive. Thanks is not enough, we will be back.

“More than wonderful !” My eldest son recommended Perdido Sun. I was taking the boys to Perdido Cye since 1988. My last visit was prior to " Ivan". I was so impressed by the rebuiling. Your property was just what my son from Germany and I were looking for a short vacation. From the managment to the condo was " Great, friendly and helpful". Our visit was wonderful. “relaxing” the house was really relaxing and quiet. one of the chairs on the porch you couldnt sit in because it was broke but that was the only flaw

“good times” Even though there was a hurricane going on around us, we still had a good time. Didn't care a whole lot about the snake that lived under the house and came out to greet us, but all in all it was a great time.

“Awesome Family Getaway” Our family enjoyed the beautiful cottage and the beautiful scenery. The house was secluded in it's own little area with just a few neighbors to visit and party with. The house had every comfort of home and was immaculate, we loved everything about it. The management staff was friendly and efficient we can't wait to go back next year!!!

“Loved perdido key village resort” My family loved the feel of feel of the resort. The indoor and outdoor pools were so nice. The only complaint my kids had were that the mattress were uncomfortable in the two guest bedrooms. Master bedroom one seemed fine. It was very clean and well tended. We will come back again next year.
