“Wonderful cabin!” My husband and I stayed here with our teen aged daughter for our older daughters wedding. The cabin is gorgeous. The decks are wonderful, large and comfortable. Beautifully furnished, all the comforts of home. It was a great place to relax and unwind after the wedding 'chaos'! Will definitely stay again.

“Nice and Cozy” We had a great time during Spring Break 2014. We wanted to do something a little different with grandkids this year, and this Cottage was perfect. (We normally go to Gatlinburg) Cottage sits right on the river with the deck actually out over the river. Hot tub was well taken care of and located where we had a nice view of the river. We didn't realize we had scheduled opening day of trout fishing season, but we took advantage, and my son caught several nice fish right on the property. I enjoyed the fact that the cottage is a part of history, (Former Bat Cave Post Office), yet everything was updated with new fixtures and electronics. The beds slept great, and the grand kids loved the game room. Chimney Rock State Park and little downtown area are just a few minutes from the cottage on the same road. We were a little concerned about available dining close by, but were pleasantly surprised with the variety of options. Also used the available stainless Weber grill on the deck. I am certain we will return later in the summer. The owners were very nice, and made us feel like we were appreciated. Overall a very nice and relaxing vacation. (The massage chair was a bonus when I could get the kids out of it)

“Beautiful Saddlebrook” I visited this home with 6 other women and we all loved it. This house is beautifully appointed with everything you need. The babbling creek is truly right next to the house and is so soothing. There was plenty of room and we were all very comfortable.

“Unbelievable location and did so many things at this unique cabi” Easy to check in and out. The outside and inside look even better in person. The way it was designed & decorated was so creative with all the small touches around the cabin. Very clean throuhout the cabin and on the outside. The location was perfect. Anything you could ever want to do: Golfing, hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, canoeing, and site seeing. At the community center you can even play volleyball, basketball and other activities. They have 24 hour security in this gating community with partrol cars. I loved the fire pit in the backyard of the cabin and it has the biggest loft I have ever seen. You could walk out the cabin and start hiking on the trails. River in the back and a huge lake steps away. I'm so glad that we decided on this cabin for our vacation. Thank you very much to the River Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

“Beautiful cozy bungalow, the perfect getaway” This was the PERFECT place to stay! The bungalow itself was cozy and had everything we needed, it was very hard to leave such a beautiful relaxing place. My only regret was not staying a few more nights! “Loved this place” I rented this place for family coming into town. We all absolutely loved it! The house is very nice and new. The yard was big enough for the kids to run around and they really enjoyed playing on the zip line. There was plenty of room for our party of five. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes. “Beautiful, extremely comfortable, would go back again!!!” My family and I stayed for 8 days and could not have asked for a more comfortable, clean well-built cabin to spend our vacation. The views were beautiful especially the sunrise in the morning over the deck. There were six of us, all adults, and the house was large enough that we all had our own space when needed. We were close to trout fishing, zip lining and water rafting. One of the things that stood out to me was the quality of the furnishings from the bedding, linens to all of the kitchen ware. The whole cabin has been decorated with taste and quality. My family enjoyed the hot tub every night. We grilled on the deck, made smores over the fire pit. It was truly a wonderful vacation that was made even more memorable by the cabin itself. I would definitely go back again and hope to!!!

“Perfect Peaceful Spot on the River” Jack and Christy were great. We briefly mentioned we were “getting away” for our anniversary and they had champagne and a lovely card waiting for us. We travelled to the area to visit Biltmore, which is a must see. The cabin is about 25 mins. away from Biltmore and is a perfect spot to enjoy peace and quiet and enjoy a little nature. We sat by a fire in the evening, listening to the river rumble and were able to see a deer come to the river as well as ducks and an Osprey glide between the trees. It’s only 5 mins. from I-40 but you feel like you miles and miles away from anyone. Jack and Chrsty, thanks again for your hospitality. Your beautiful cabin and attention to detail throughout made our anniversary one that we’ll remember for a long time. Oh- and the frosty beer mugs in the freezer were much appreciated.
