“A house that I could see living in permanently.” I can't think of anything negative to say, OK if I lived there I'd put a couple palm trees and a bar by the pool... I really liked the look of the tile floor in the living room and I really appreciated the fact that there is a DVR connected to the main TV. It is an awesome house.

“The best place we have stayed at in Florida to date!” We had a great time at this house! We enjoyed the pool and the game room! There was plenty of room for each of us and we had no problems with our stay. We would definitely book again if we go back to Florida.

“Great home, owner, and neighborhood!” My family of five and three grandparents shared the villa for a week at the end of January and had a great experience. This is a spotless home and is in like new condition. The pictures represented it very well and we were pleasantly surprised when we actually arrived. This was the first time I rented a house online and I could not have been happier with the process and the owner. There were no surprises or hidden costs and they were very responsive with any requests or questions. Kids absolutely loved the pool and the free grill was nice. The location seems very safe, it's fairly private with no one in the back yard, and there is a shopping center five minutes away. We really liked the big kitchen and dining area. All in all, we had a great stay.

“Great base for Florida Holiday” The house and location were great. The heated pool was perfect for our children who would have spent the entire holiday in it if we had let them. The service was great and communication from the owner just right. We would stay here again if we returned to the area.

“Awesome Home” This home was beautiful! It was all the was described and more! My family and I had an amazing time! Our only regret was that we were so busy and did not get much time at the home relaxing.

“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “Perfect Vacation Home” Great home, well laid out, perfect vacation home for the whole family. Clean, well equipped. Great location of Southern Dunes on a beautiful golf course. Had our family visit for two weeks and there was plenty of room for all our children and grand children. Would definitely recommend it to all my friends and would go back again.

“Cozy and great location” Stayed for wife's birthday and it was great. Cozy home with all the extras. Big screen TV to watch the games, gameroom to keep the kids entertained, pool was nice size.10 to 15 mins away from the mouse named Mickey. I Will come again. Recommend 100%. “Birthday Trip!” I do believe this might have been the funnest trip I've ever taken in my life. Having every single thing just minutes away from you was such a delight and such a pleasure to not have to drive around constantly in the car. This community is gated and seems like a really fun place to actually buy a vacation home. Actually, while we were there we looked into it and might be doing the same thing that this particular person is offering on TripAdvisor as well! First of all, the house was just absolutely amazing... Bigger than my own home even. It was just me, my son and my husband and our house was absolutely humongous. We actually had thought we would have another family with us but it fell through. Everything was clean and perfect. There were many things like dishwasher, laptop, printer, hair dryer, straightener, toiletries, food! When we arrived, we already had some basic needs that were furnished To Us by the owners. It was such a treat to see that they really cared about us to furnish those things! There was a perfect screened in porch out the back over looking a little bit of a water marsh where we got to watch the birds everyday. The wildlife in our particular yard was extremely delightful. From frogs to lizards two birds two cranes we had an amazing time when we were relaxing at home. To my delight, there were also three swimming pools in the complex. One of the pools were in the middle of the community which was right down the street from our home, then there were two others inside the clubhouse which were also fantastic. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sitting underneath the shelter when it started to rain. Since I knew it would be very hot and we would be extremely exhausted, I asked for a maid service halfway through our vacation and I'm so happy I did. It was nice to come home after dinner to a 100% clean house with clean towels and everything perfect. I recommend that you get the service as the cleaning lady does an excellent job! The next time we booked our Walt Disney World vacation I will be using this home again without a doubt. Even though we stayed 7 days, we still did not get to see everything that we wanted to. Next time we come down we are doing 10 to 12 days for sure and cannot wait to come back to Vista Del Lago. I was really surprised on how many friends we made while we were there!! If you are looking for a family home that could easily sleep 7 people, please do yourself a favor and book this, you will be so glad that you did!!

“Perfect for everyone's needs and in an excellent location!” From long before we arrived we knew how excellent a villa this was, as the owner and the management team were so incredibly helpful and willing. Including the management team assisting me with purchases to go in the home before I arrived and Susan the owner answering all my crazy questions! In fact I'm going to miss our email chats! On arrival in the home we found everything perfectly clean tidy and in order with an excellent welcome pack to see us through before our big shop. Being a mum of young children I was delighted with the huuuge washing machine and dryer. We need these in the UK. The children loved the pool and the games room and spent lots of happy times there, as did the adults after the kids had gone to bed. We unusually chose not to hire a car and we got around no problem. Disney, particularly animal Kingdom is only a short distance away and universal is only about 25-30 mins. I prebooked a lot of journeys with a company called happy limo who were absolutely outstanding in their punctuality and ease of booking. Anyway back to the house, every bedroom was perfectly appointed with all you could need. The living areas were very spacious even with 7 adults and 2 children. We never once felt on top of each other. The shop and communal pool at Windsor hills is a nice short stroll away and Windsor Hills itself is very clean, well laid out and very secure indeed. I could not recommend this house highly enough and am very pleased I chose this one. I spent weeks and weeks searching villa rentals before settling on this house so I learnt a lot about the different features and prices of villas and I do feel that this one fitted the bill perfectly.

“A Magical Stay” What's not to love about this home! First and foremost Brandie herself is a genuine person who really cares about the people who stay at her home. From the initial contact of a personal phone call, to her follow ups on every little question, to her wishing us a safe trip to a thank you and welcome home at the end, Brandie is truly a great family person! The home itself was as described in other reviews and more. The location to the clubhouse could not have been better. A short walk down the path (100yds maybe) and the kids were relaxing by the lagoon pool! The added security of a gated community provided additional piece of mind even though you are only 5mins from Disney. The staff at the community became like family before we left. Friendly, cheerful, always willing to stop and talk about anything and everything! The home itself is exactly as pictured! Clean and comfortable made for it enjoyable to return home for afternoon breaks from the park. The Disney bedroom was the room of choice for our youngest! The downstairs bedroom provided a nice separation for our oldest to have her space when exhaustion took over:). We have rented homes before when traveling to Disney and Brandie's is at the top of the list! From location, ease of access, amenities, cleanliness, comfort and exceptional (what I will call) customer service and value, you won't find a better place to stay or person to work with then Brandie and her home!!! We will definitely be back again!!! Thanks Brandie :)
