“Great family time!!” We meet at Mustang Island at least once a year. This house was comfortable and slept our whole family. It was a little hike to the beach but not too bad.

“Had a great time at Portofino” We were pleased with our stay at Portofino. The house was very spacious for the 6 of us. The only thing is the walls are so thin you can hear everything, even when someones phone is on the floor upstairs you could hear it vibrate downstairs. And then we ended up with neighbors that packed a whole community into the house next door & they stayed in the pool playing their music til 1:00 & 2:00 in the morning. That was frustrating because we could hear it all. And the rosemary bush in front of the air conditioning unit needs to be trimmed. It's getting a little out of hand since that's the only way guests can come & go. Those are the only few things that any of us complained about. Over all it was a very pleasant stay & the house was decorated really cute.

“Great spur of the moment vacation” Oh this was an awesome vacation the room, view ,and amenities were out of this world! The beds were cozy the tub was super huge like a Jacuzzi the view was amazing. The decorating was cute it matched the scenery we LOVED IT. We will be back again and yes I'm referring everyone.

“Amazing view and location, new property...bonus” We loved the location, view and proximity to town. The third floor was perfect for entertaining, had a great open kitchen which made it enjoyable to cook for the family. It was well appointed with everything you need. It ha 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bath, 2 kitchens, bar, play room, TV in every room, a well needed elevator and a garage. The pool was just an added bonus as we really enjoyed going to the beach daily.

“good times, but, property needs upkeep” We have stayed at Beachhead condos before, and have always had a great time. We had a wonderful time, as usual. However, we were disappointed in the condition of this particular unit. There were several issues in the area of general upkeep of the unit that needed attention. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom repaired with staples! Rusty shower curtain rod, and tub also rusted and in need of fresh caulking. The pull out sofa in such bad condition it was useless. The unit was just not well kept by the owner. All things that would seem to be quick and easy fixes. I will stay at Beachhead again but will avoid this unit.

“Satisfied” The house was very nice and clean. However, and this is minor, the yard and patio were not very inviting. There were weeds growing everywhere and the patio furniture was stained with what seemed to be bird poop. The screen door to the porch was broken. The porch light did not come on. I am one who enjoys sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the mornings, so the flawed appearance of the yard/porch made it not as enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend village walk to a friend

“Family Vacation at Barefoot Dreams” The house was cool, the beds were comfortable and clean. We had four couples and 2 small grandchildren. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space yet all gather in the family room. Location was great as we could walk to kids to the beach.

“Great location, but...” One of the best locations near Port A that I've ever been to. Very private. The property is nice but the downstairs area is really more of a dungeon. It's only accessible from an outside door. It's dark and has no windows. The property wasn't very clean. Beer cans and junk just laying around the house, the interior wasn't very clean and unlike most rentals it wasn't stocked with basic essentials in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great and the internet worked fine albeit rather slow. This house should get 5 stars if they took a little time on fixing a few things (the myriad of french doors leading to the huge back deck are broken and it took a while just to find the one that worked) and clean it better. When we arrived to pick up the keys the young lady who greeted me seemed rather dismissive and not the kind of welcome I usually get when arriving for what is clearly a vacation.
