“Everything we wanted on our vacation!” We have stayed in many motels and rentals in the Mayan Riviera over the past 16 years. Casa de los Viajeros is now at the top of our list. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, it was absolutely beautiful, sunny, quiet, clean and nice lite breezes. Located 1 1/2 blocks from the nicest beach and best snorkeling in the area. A short stroll (3 blocks) puts you in the town square with plenty to see and fabulous restaurants. Rob and Jonne are very friendly and can suggest things to do, see or places to dine. “Fantastic!” My wife and I stayed three nights in unit 216. The service (from the maids to the front desk attendents)at this condo was exceptional. I think 216 is one of the best units this place has to offer. Each night we would sit on our private balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyard and pool and talk about how we never want to leave. The unit is very clean and nicely decorated. The location cannot be beat. The beach is a one block walk and Fifth avenue with its countless restaurants and local shops is one block in the other direction. This is truly a great place to spend a vacation. My wife and I are already planning a return trip!

“Awesome experience” We had a wonderful time at the condo. The service and the staff there is excellent and the condo is very luxurious. We enjoyed every moment and took advantage to take a dip in the ocean every morning. It's so great, that the beach is only steps away. “Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.

“get away” My experience was kinda shaky at first , I was given the wrong gate code to get in complex, plus there were a couple of wristbands for pool entry missing and a blind that was messed up,but was able to be fixed in about 15 minutes. Our reservations were never given to property managers at office as well, but as soon as Jennifer responded she was able to take care of that. I have been to 2 other units there and this unit is the most modern by far and is very clean,and a great spot in the complex.

“A Beautiful Week In Playa” We had 6 adults stay in this 3 bedroom condo. The master bedroom was gorgeous and the king-sized bed was ok. The middle bedroom had 2 queen sized beds which were comfortable. The small bedroom was very small and had a fan instead of aC. There was a small bedside table on one side and nothing on the other. We ended up setting up our luggage as a small table on the other side to put water and phone etc. The bed in the small bedroom was more comfortable than the king sized bed in the Master bedroom. The bathrooms are fine and overall the place was very clean. There were plenty of towels and the sheets were changed on the 3rd and 5th days. We did have an issue with the stove - if it is not turned off correctly, there is an odor of gas. We had to have maintenance show us the trick. The beach was gorgeous and Gabrielle was there to get us chairs and umbrellas everyday. Also, we could get beach/pool side service from Fusion and ate there a few times too. There was never an issue of not finding a chair even though a lot of the units were filled. The location of the condo is great if you have children. We happen to be 6 adults on vacation the same week that a lot of families were on vacation. Being poolside was nice but we had a lot of kids in the pool at all times. Although the property manager did make sure the kids were not overly loud and playing catch, etc. the pool seemed to always be occupied with kids. I think I would get a beachfront or maybe a roof condo if I came back with no kids. The location of the complex was perfect. We were within walking distance of 5th ave, the ferry and even Walmart.

“Great place” We couldn't have a better time. The condo had everything you could possibly need for cooking, or going to the pool and beach. The condo is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and the weather was perfect. Village is a 5 minute drive and the restaurants were perfect for a family. Definitely coming back!

“Comfort and Convenience” We only stayed for 2 nights, but would not hesitate to rent here again. The location on St. Pete Beach was perfect. Even though there was temporary beach dredging going on in front of the condo this did not ruin our stay. The access to the beach was very convenient and there were less people and more room at this end, away from the larger hotels. The accomodations were just as pictured. Beautifully updated - everything clean as could be. All the conveniences were there and in working order. We look forward to the next time we can book a visit.

“Playa Paradise” We spent three weeks in this beautiful, spacious unit, in a perfect location. It is right on the beach, next to Wicky's Beach Club, which has very afordable lunches. We like being on the ground floor because there's usually more outdoor space and it's usually easier to get to the pool and beach. This was truly the case here. The unit had a huge patio and an extra patio one step up from the normal sized one with an abundance of patio furniture - then, only down a few steps to the pool. The kitchen was large and mostly well-stocked, with purified water delivered at checkin and throughout our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive. There was an extra den-like room at the entrance, for extra sleeping or quiet time, if needed. Both baths were good sized, one with a washer/dryer combo. Daily maid service was provived by very friendly staff. There isn't much to improve on in this unit. We did have problems with the phone and internet connection, but we were in Mexico and it did take Telmex a week to get to us. I would only add a few things - a few more pans for cooking, and one more chair in the living room. There was one couch and one chair in the living room of the two bedroom unit which slept 6. Also, which we found strange, there was a curtain which could cover the patio door but nothing to cover the side windows in the living room, kitchen and den, which overlooked a walkway to the pool. There were shades which you could use during the day, but you could see through them at night. We ended up using towels to cover the windows at night. We did have ants in the kitchen, on the counters - possibly because there are plants and lots of dirt next to the kitchen wall. Lots of mosquitos and no-see-ums when we were there.
