“Beautiful vacation at Casa de Colores” First off, the home is superb and wonderfully situated at the north end of Half Moon Bay with sweeping views of the water from nearly every room in the house. Great staff and amenities, this home has everything to make your vacation in akumal special and enjoyable. There are a few dining options are within walking distance and everything the town has to offer is only a short bike ride away, however we also loved staying at home to cook on occasion as you can't beat the view! While you can snorkel outside your door in Half Moon Bay, walk to Yal-Ku lagoon, hang out at the main beach in town or take day trips, I think the beauty of Casa De Colores is that you don't feel like you have to leave. Relaxing on the deck or by the pool with a good book is a great way to spend a day. This home would be good for families.

“Fantastic!” My wife and I stayed three nights in unit 216. The service (from the maids to the front desk attendents)at this condo was exceptional. I think 216 is one of the best units this place has to offer. Each night we would sit on our private balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped courtyard and pool and talk about how we never want to leave. The unit is very clean and nicely decorated. The location cannot be beat. The beach is a one block walk and Fifth avenue with its countless restaurants and local shops is one block in the other direction. This is truly a great place to spend a vacation. My wife and I are already planning a return trip!

“Everything we wanted on our vacation!” We have stayed in many motels and rentals in the Mayan Riviera over the past 16 years. Casa de los Viajeros is now at the top of our list. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, it was absolutely beautiful, sunny, quiet, clean and nice lite breezes. Located 1 1/2 blocks from the nicest beach and best snorkeling in the area. A short stroll (3 blocks) puts you in the town square with plenty to see and fabulous restaurants. Rob and Jonne are very friendly and can suggest things to do, see or places to dine. “Bilss on the Hill” We just finished a great stay at Casa Hortencias. We loved the property. The location was great, just above Old Town so we could walk to everything. Took a cab a few times later in the evening to get back home. It was easy and inexpensive The home is beautifully appointed and the service was great. Leti, our maid, was charming and took care of everything we needed. We could not believe how ´´at home´´ we felt at Casa Hortencias. So relaxing and comfortable! They really have thought of everything. Plush beach towels, comfortable sheets, dimmers on all the lights to create ambiance, stocked kitchen, wifi, you name it. Although we spent many evenings exploring the great restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, we did have a few meals at home and hired Maria one night to cook for us. It was a great experience. She served us our authentic Mexican dinner up on the terrace where we could take in the magnificent view of Vallarta and watch the sun go down. Pure Bliss. We also loved the rooftop pool area during the day and spent lots of time up there enjoying the sunshine. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

“You don't have to die to get to heaven” Before my stay at Casa del Perro Feliz, I had never been to the Yucatan peninsula and I found the listing for the house on the internet. As you know, there can be a big difference between the experience promised in the listing and your actual stay. Everything about my 10 days at this fabulous house far exceeded my expectations. The house is spacious and sweet. Maria and Ulises, the caretakers, are dedicated and gracious. The bay is a Caribbean dream. We were there for the Christmas and new year holidays and we almost never even saw our neighbors--which meant we had the whole bay to ourselves. The nearby town of Tulum was exciting and the food was great. There are many things to see in the peninsula but, for us, the most magnificent were the cenotes. Swim in as many of them as you can. There is one 5 minutes walk from the house, but our favorite was the Grand Cenote, a few minutes drive. This was a memorable and rewarding trip for me, my wife and our 3 children. I'm saving up so we can go back.

“Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.
