“Great location, clean and comfortable.” I spent a weekend with friends and we all enjoyed the cottage. It was very clean and quiet. It accommodated four adults comfortably and has all the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, complete with good tasting city water you can drink from the tap and strong water pressure. The Smart TV in the living room with wifi provided entertainment for music and movies. And there's a nice kitchen table for games and meals. In addition to the comforts, the location is really great. The cottage is beachfront and has large windows giving you a view of Lake Huron from both the living room and Kitchen. Depending on your plans for the weekend, it really is the perfect spot for a girls' weekend such as I did, or I could see bringing my family here, or booking it with another small family. I stayed during Winter, but I noticed there are some nice swings, a fire pit, and the beach for long walks to make a summer stay fun. There's also a party store across the street and a full grocery store a quick drive away. We ordered pizza one night and that was convenient too. I definitely plan to stay again and would recommend it to others.

“Beautiful, quiet, peaceful! Rejuvenating and happy place!” The owners are so helpful, sweet, prompt and hungry for input. We enjoyed our stay so much!!! We housed two married couples, three kids under 6 and some teenagers and it was tight but in a fun 'together' kind of a way. The beach is down a hefty flight of stairs but is so beautiful and secluded that it is no inconvenience to make the walk to the house and back. The kids were able to run free on the beach, waves were small but fun. The basement playroom was not small child material when we were there, however it looks like it has had an awesome makeover since then. HIGHLY Recommend this rental!!!

“Charming studio in lovely quiet neighborhood with fenced in private outside area.” This studio has everything you'll need. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood, great for walking. There's a small park just down the road a couple of blocks where you can sit and watch the amazing sun sets or just enjoy watching the boats ride by. The owners are very nice and have a few fur babies of their own, so they may allow you to bring your doggie,too! Sue/Dawn......thank you!!!! I hope to return & stay again.

“Quiet, lovely, spacious - so much more than just a cabin!!” The Acorn Cabin was such a pleasant surprise. We weren't sure what to expect as another member of the family made the plans. It was the perfect place to host our family reunion. John and Linda had everything for family fun including horse shoes, badminton and lawn jarts. They are incredibly friendly, caring and helpful! They know the area well and were full of great suggestions for hiking and biking. The cabin itself is huge! More than enough space to move around. The bedrooms are plenty big and the kitchen is perfect for making meals with everything you could need. And if you can't find it? Linda and John will hook you up! The porches both front and back were our favorite. It rained a few days and the porches were the perfect spot to still enjoy being outside. Loved watching the fire flies at dusk while sipping on a glass of wine. Simply awesome! If you want to get away without getting really far away, this is a great spot. Lots to do and explore. “Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “Wonderfully comfortable home away in the Northwoods” 5 minutes is all it took to appreciate the attention to detail Rick put into this place. Small but very accommodating place that provided exactly the type of inviting warmth in virtual solitude we were seeking. Perfectly equipped to stay in and cook meals, relax by the fire and listen to music. Our canine companion had the freedom to run and explore while walking the property/neighborhood. Never felt like the cabin was lacking anything. The lighted trees created a wonderful ambiance at the end of the day. Overall, a perfect retreat for couples and we will be back to explore in the summer.

“Very nice place for my elderly grandparents to stay!” Very nice place for my grandparents to spend a night. Beautiful, secluded, neat as a pin...would refer to others for sure! Also--very nice trails throughout the campground. Have ridden horse through as trails are nicely groomed.

“Comfortable and huge.” My wife and I recently stayed here. While we only needed a place for the two of us, we were really impressed with the spaciousness and layout of this condo. We are thinking about returning with a larger family group. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms are also roomy. Location is close to downtown, Port Clinton, Cedar Point, or the ferries to the islands. The view out over the country club is beautiful. We would strongly recommend this rental to anyone interested in staying in Marblehead.

“Wonderful cabin on Lake Winnebago” This house is as advertised and more. My family arrived for a week of relaxation and we were not disappointed. The house was super clean with all we would need for the week. The sun room was a great addition with beautiful views of the lake, the deck was huge with a swing for two ( spent many mornings sitting and listening to the birds sing) and the grill was a great asset. The yard was huge with enough room for all your outdoor games. The family spent much time in the lake(was sooo hot) which is a great swimming lake with the sand bar just feet from the dock. At night the fire pit was a great thing to have as the kids loved sitting by the fire making smores and reflecting on the wonderful day we had. I would DEFINATLEY stay here again! Oh almost forgot Kristie is absolutley the best host. She called to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed. Thanks again Paul and Kristie!! P.S. thanks for the welcoming gift it will always remind us of our vacation.

“Great location” We had a great vacation! Condo was really nice. Only thing we would change is more bath and kitchen towels. There were no kitchen towels at all. Lol
