“The Cottage at West 1077 = August 2013” We have stayed in Bandera almost every year since 1997 and this accomodation was by far the best we've ever experienced. A delightful, beautifully appointed cottage in the edge of the Hill Country State Natural area and just a short drive from the centre of 'The Cowboy Capital of the World'. The cottage boasts two bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, spacious lounge and even a well appointed kitchenette. The icing on the cake was the lovely porch complete with rocking chairs and table and chairs, perfect for watching the local wildlife and the sun set over the Hill Country. The owners, Mr & Mrs Kirchner, were really friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They ensured the cottage was topped up with fresh towels and made sure that our stay was as perfect as possible. All in all, we say without hesitation that we have found our Bandera 'home from home' and will visit again (and again)whenever we can. Thank you Mr & Mrs Kirchner, for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage!

“Peaceful Hill Country experience...” My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista. The house is new, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It takes a little while to get to it - country roads and across cattle guards - but you truly get what it would be like to live in the Hill Country. We saw deer and a magnificent storm that blew in on Saturday night. The breakfast consisted of kolaches, muffins, orange juice, coffee and some fruit. We'll keep Bella Vista on a short list of places that we'd like to visit again.

“Our third stay is booked!” We have stayed at Kathy's Kottage twice before and have just booked our third stay for next summer. We love Pointe West and this house has just been a perfect place for our family. This year we actually brought a couple of extra kids with us. Each time we come we venture out a little more and find new things to do and restaurants to visit. This year we found Olympia Grill on the bay at Pier 21. It was great. We also spent a little more time downtown. They had live music and many neat shops that the kids enjoyed going into. We had seen reports of seaweed in Galveston on the television, but by the time we arrived in late July the only seaweed we saw lingered in piles along the beachfront. If you are a repeat tenant make sure to ask for a small discount. We saved enough to pay for that meal at Olympia :).

“love love loved!!” This was a beautiful and comfortable stay!! The name suits it very well! Not only do you wake to the waves, but to fall asleep to them is even better!! I loved the simple walk to the beach and the convenience of the pool!! I must admit, being able to watch my husband and kids play on the beach while i watched from the bedroom balcony was by far my favorite!! Love love loved it!! Thanks cheryl!! “Owner Cares like no others” During the years I've Rented Condo's adjacent to this one, and was a bit surprised that I was emailed to directly contact owner for anything, as other times I would contact an Office that cares for a hand full of rentals in the area and not available after hours. as I walked in I took Pics of a dented Refrigerator door, missing foot pedal to trash can and other minor wear and tear feeling unsecured of what I was getting into. Turns out Temp Ac Control went out making home feel warm for a few hours, I gave time to see if it kicked back in, then called Mattye feeling a bit uncomfortable, but she was apologetic and easy to talk to and assured it will be dealt with the next day and I could tell she was a dedicated to service to her Guest. This is hard to find, a dedicated owner to your Vacation needs, as thoughtful as leaving coupons and attraction Brochures in a basket for us guest and going beyond like including her Netflix for our kids to enjoy, and leaving me a gift for what she thought was an inconvenience, even thought I was not to worried about AC Control anymore after it kicked in. For owners like these to move from Austin to Corpus, and throwing extras shows the thoughtfulness they have for their guest and you should not worry about them doing you wrong. Thx. Mattye and Husband I hope we cleaned up well after ourselves. lol
