“Excellent family holiday” Excellent appartments with a super location, near the Concha beach and just in the middle of the nicest shopping area of San Sebastian. Also, very closed to the town hall and the restaurants area. Overall, located at walking distance from any good place. Moreover, the appartments themselves are excellent for a 4 member family, fully equiped and with nice extras such as Wifi or Ipod charger or a nice and big TV. On top, the decoration is super. This an evidence of the excellent service of Nuria and Nerea who care about every single detail. Indeed, I would reccomend this appartment to anyobe willing to enjoy a family vacation or a city break trip to San Sebastian. I am already recommending it to my friends.

“A great choice in a lovely part of San Sebastian/Donostia” We were at the apartment for four nights in June, and were really pleased with our choice. The apartment is in a great part of SS - a ten minute walk from the old town, fifteen from the beach, but without any of the noise that we'd have experienced staying closer to either. Very close to an excellent market and supermarket for picking up bits for breakfast, we were really pleased with the location. The apartment itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage, and a great bathroom. We also didn't notice any noise coming from the neighbouring apartments. We were provided with excellent directions to find the flat, and gaining access was also straightforward even without anyone physically handing us the keys. Checkout was a synch with the letting agent turning up bang on time, and the whole process only taking a couple of minutes. Overall: A really nice apartment in a convenient, handsome part of town. Thoroughly recommended.

A win/win of a spot.

We loved the Basque region in general and so happy we choose Deba as our home base. Deba's size and location were perfect. It provided easy access to surrounding regions and yet it was small but not too small. It had all we needed (minus noise and confusion) of larger places. Our apartment was perfect. It was located on a quiet residential street in Deba so we felt part of the community yet it was right in the heart of the village and had great access, so a win/win for us. We were a couple of minutes from the bakery and supermarket and easy access, maybe 5 min walk downtown to the train station. Walking trails were right our our door. The apt. was well equipped, great pots and pans, had lots of space and was clean. We loved the shower and balconies. Joxean, the owner was key to our stay in Deba and the region. When we arrived he had maps and suggestions for us. Many of his suggestions we would have missed as they were best known to the locals. He was available by phone and/or responded quickly to email to all our questions. Without a doubt I would go back and stay in the same spot. Choosing online is hard, you are not sure what you will get but we were relieved to have chosen Deba and Joxean. We will go back. … see more

San Sebastian dream apartment

This apartment was a great experience from start to finish. It's an easy walk from the train station and the manager was waiting for us right at the door when we arrived with a friendly smile. The apartment was clean and new with modern furniture. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you need to cook a meal. Even basics like olive oil, basic spices, coffee, tea, sugar, pots & pans. Speaking of food, this apartment is around the corner from a wonderful market and restaurants & shopping. You are really in the middle of everything. The street noise was not bad becasue it is on a pedestrian only cross street. People watching off the balconies was a pleasure. The washer/dryer and dishwasher were all state of the art. The TV had a good selection of English speaking cable channels, even Cnbc and CNN. The wifi signal was strong and included in the rental fee. A nice surprise was the bed: It was us "King size” and very soft and comfortable. Other places we stayed had hard mattresses. Another feature we appreciated was the "black-out” shades in the bedroom, you could sleep in darkness if you like, perfect for napping! The bathroom/shower was good with strong water pressure and plenty of towels, even soap and shampoo if you needed it. We were very impressed with the customer service when we had one issue. Our little coffee maker broke so I called the number the manager gave me. They picked up right away and where there in 5 minutes to try and fix it. The coffee machine was not fixable so they replaced it within the hour. I would say that is better service than in most hotels and you don't expect that in an apartment rental. Very impressive! Finally, we had a late train back to Barcelona and they let us stay in the unit until late afternoon, we really appreciated that. I would highly recommend this rental it was a great experience and I would rent this unit again. … see more
