“Quiet escape in beautiful snowdonia” Delightful cottage, well equipped. The owners were available to give advice on where to go when needed. Location in Betwsy is perfect as you feel tucked away next to the river and down a private road but is a minutes walk to shops restuarants etc. Some delightful low level walks you can do from the cottage include the miners bridge, and fairy glen. Easy access to Snowdon for the more venturesome. Cant wait to go back.

“The "Savoy" of Cottages” Nant Cottage was our 5th cottage from Sykes and we just don't know how they can better it. Everything from the welcome scones and supplies to the waterfall virtually in your back garden makes this cottage and location special. I'm hesitant in saying to much as I will want to go back to Nant Cottage in the future and want to make certain that there will be a few free weeks left for me.

“lovely comfortable cottage with awesome viewsand great local wal” we had a fantastic week, the cottage was perfectly placed for touring North Wales, we went all over sampling the delights of awesome scenery, local food and local heritage. Walking the dog out from the cottage was a great bonus, I never did the same walk twice. Enjoyed the slate museum at Llanberis, Betws-y-coed, Barmouth we took the ferry across to Fairbourne. A most enjoyable week in a super comfortable cottage with all mod cons.

“Holiday Delight” This was a quite excellent rental property - probably the best we've stayed at in the UK. It is very spacious, so that our two year old grandson had lots of room to run around, and the garden was very secure. The house is well-equipped, with extremely good kitchen facilities, a comfortable lounge, and, very importantly, really comfortable beds - we all slept well.

“Excellent location” Great flat everything you could need in the way of cooking utensil, well decorated and the location is so handy, near bus stops, pubs, shops and of course the railway station, flat just above it.Entrance is by a spiral staircase so not good if you are unsteady on your feet. We were 5 adults and we found one bathroom and toilet not enough at times.local area great for walkers and climbing, got the train to Llandudno, train noise did not bother us in the flat. All in all a good place to stay

“Perfect place for a large group.” Huge property fully equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. Everywhere was lovely and clean, there wasn't a single complaint from anyone in my party of 17, we all agreed we would return. Plenty of amenities nearby, we used the Co-op, the pubs and the local Indian take away. Absolutely beautiful place for walking. Spot on, thanks.

“Fabulous Experience, Great Hosts” Absolutely loved the stay. The Cottage is right in the heart of nature with views of mountains on one side and views of sea on the other. Mr & Mrs Widdicombe are great hosts as they were kind enough to be awake till 1 am to welcome us. The cottage is about 20 mins driving distance from all the nearest attractions. The rooms are spacious and designed to a very good taste. We would definitely like to stay there when we visit snowdonia next.

“Better than Expected” I rely on trip advisor reviews when traveling do happy to review. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this cottage for our family of five. It was better than I'd hoped- clean, great location, well- equipped kitchen. Cottage is walking distance from several hiking trails and also in the center of town. There is information on nearby attractions available and also has wifi. The only negative is the bedding had a bottom sheet and a blanket, no top sheet, but it worked fine. It is a bit tucked away, but directions given were good; just follow carefully. We plan to return to Wales and would stay there again!

“Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners,they did us proud. “Exciting location” This cottage is something of a secret gateway to wild Wales,located on a 2000 acre sheep farm which stretches into the heart of the remote and rugged Rhinog country of southern Snowdonia. Great for walkers. Mountain lakes for trout fishers. The cottage is accessed across a river ford and stoney track but has been refurbished to a high standard by the friendly and helpful owners who live next door. Although remote, the pubs and shops of Harlech and Llanbedr are no more than 20 mins drive from the farm. Well worth a visit if you're a fit outdoor type.
