“Exceptional, Peacefull, Relaxation” This is the cleanest, most spickspan house we've ever rented for vacation! We are a family of four with a 20 and a 15 year old. Fully airconditioned in all rooms, even though we preferred to rather have windows and doors open during the days and enjoy the continous breeze from the sea. The view down to Rethymnon and the sea from both, the rooftop veranda and the ground level veranda, is breathtaking and ever so soul-refreshing. The villa is fairly high up on a mountain. The owners argiro and Nikos put every effort into making your stay pleasant and memorable. Due to a telephone in the house they can be reached anytime for advice. They show real pride in their villa and Nikos lovingly takes care of the garden, pool and watering the plants daily. When one of the outdoor chair covers ripped through normal wear and tear it was replaced within 24 hours with a smile; that's service! A special mention: the beds are comfortable!! One problem we encountered was the extremely steep driveway. Our rented car (1.3 ltr petrol)got down, but couldn't get back up without help. We returned it and got a car with decent engine power instead (1.4 ltr turbo diesel); plain sailing from there on thanks to the friendly service of Car Rental Crete in Heraklion. Argiro and Nikos are very friendly, open people with lots of heart. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

“Serene Retreat in a Great Location” We spent about a week in the house, and we had a marvelous time. The house is spacious, well furnished and well laid out, with beautiful light all day and abundant peace and quiet. I especially enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast at the large dining room table and planning out how to spend the day. Its located outside the bustle of Rethymno, so it gives you a feel for what village life is like, but its close enough to the city to make it quite convenient by car. The little grocery and coffee place nearby eased any concerns we had that we would feel isolated. I cant wait to go back.
