“The best place in Rio!” I stayed at Jane's beautiful apartment in Ipanema with my wife in Feb 2013 and it was the most perfect & luxurious apartment you could hope for. The apartment was spacious with nice modern decoration inside. The pool and the view from the pool is probably the best on the strip! Jane was so helpful from the moment we agreed to stay, months before our trip, always providing us with helpful info about the apartment and Rio in general. She has thought of everything which made our trip very enjoyable. Highly recommend this place! Ilan

“Fantastic!” We stayed in the apartment for Carnival. It's a perfect location, very safe, secure, clean and overall a great experience. This was my 6th time to Rio, so I have a lot to compare it to. The price was right for that time period.

“Simply brilliant !!” We stayed at this studio for 4 nights and left with a longing heart to return.The studio is stylishly decorated,as you can see from the photos posted up by the owners.It has all the necessities which we needed, plus an I-pod dock!!It is situated on a street just off the Copacabana beach,lined with local eateries,mini markets and internet cafes.Everything is nearby and within walking distance - banks, laundry shops,higher-end restaurants and the beach!For its central location,we must say that the rate was very reasonable by Rio's standard.We have shopped around and compared the prices of both hotels and private flats before deciding on this studio and at the end of our stay, we were happy to conclude that we have made a really good choice!The apartment block was guarded and gated,also well maintained.Living in a private apartment amongst the locals was truly an exciting experience for us.We ate at the eatery just next door to the apartment (left of the entrance) and had some lovely and cheap local dishes there.The owner whipped some very mean Caipirinhas for us!As for the owner,(we have only had the previlege to meet alex),we only have good things to say about him.He greeted us in high spirits despite our 2-hour delay due to the crazy traffic from the airport. Despite that, he was all smiles and spent time showing us the studio, explaining how each gadget functions and giving us advice on where to eat and what to see.He then drove us along Copacabana beach to show us around and dropped us at an eatery which we have requested for.We had not expected this very kind gesture from him.He is truly a "people" person - good and kind!!The studio was absolutely lovely and we have no qualms in recommending this place to others.We will certainly stay here again the next time we are in Rio.It was perfect in every sense!
