“Amazing” It was perfect for my small family. My husband and kids played basketball 24/7. The owners really had a lot of personal touches and made the stay stress free. We enjoyed the cabin, hot tub, pond, canoe, gazebo, privacy!! I also appreciate the communication!! They made sure we received codes, where concerned when rain was forecast, willing to help with any detail. Already planning next trip!! Thank you for a great weekend!!

“New favorite place” We have spent several years, renting cabins at different locations trying to find a place that we want to go back to every year. We finally found the place. We had a wonderful & relaxing visit. The Cabin was very comfortable, clean & spacious and John was very accommodating. We will be making an annual return to Marsh Hollow.

“The Great Escape” If you are looking for seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city- this is the place. If you need up scale aminities, look elsewhere. By that I mean - you may experience the grill catching fire due to residue settled at the bottom from many cookouts before. You may need to adjust the knob on the toilet to flush it- but turn it back off because it will leak. Such small inconviences for what you really get. Priced great. The fishing was so much fun. Bass, bluegill and if you are Savvy enough, huge carp! They bite and will take you for a ride! Butterflies galore. Turkey in the morning and a whole herd of deer and fawns making their way to bed down at dusk. Crafty spiders along the pond. There is a nice hot tub- but we were so in love with the fishing- out of our 4 day stay, we never got to dip our toes! Short drive for anything you may need- such as Walmart, Kroger, gas . Fun things to do, such as old mans cave and horseback riding. I will be back and I will bring my whole family. It will accommodate at least 12 people as there is an extra guest house. Loved it. Just what the doctor ordered.

“More than I could have expected!” Our trip consisted of myself and my Boyfriend, and another Couple. We had been looking for about 4 months for the perfect cabin get-away in the Hocking Hills area. We thought we came across a few winners, that was UNTIL we found Marsh Hollow! Marsh Hollow was so much better than I had even imagined! A lot of other cabins we saw along the way had pictures online to make it seem it was secluded, when I saw that there actually was another cabin right on top. Marsh Hollow ShadySide Cabin was secluded! There is a pine grove separating the 2 cabins that are on the property. There is a lot of property between the two cabins that I didn't even realize that there was anyone over there until we went on a walk along the creek. The inside of the cabin is amazing! Anything you could possibly anticipate needing in the kitchen is there! There is also a gas grill on the back deck! The sound system was awesome! It was really neat to have it set up outdoors also! We were able to listen to music while we were in the hot tub! Everything at Marsh Hollow is excellent! Mary & Dave are very accommodating and sweet people! We are planning our trip already for next year! Our vacation consisted of wanting to travel around the Hocking Hills area checking out the 6 different areas of the state park. The distance from the cabin to all of our areas of interest is very reasonable! Thank you for everything Mary & Dave!!
