“Location, location, location” The very best aspect of this apartment was for sure the location - just a few blocks from Piazza Navona and across the bridge from the Vatican. This is a studio apt and three adults were very comfortable. The bed is actually a murphy bed, but adequate for a short stay. Bathroom is renovated and bright. Apartment was also on a quiet street, so no trouble resting after a full day of touring the sights. I have to add, though, that the kitchen is not very well stocked - just the bare minimum utensils/plates, etc. so plan ahead if you plan to cook. We had some trouble finding the place, and after some negotiating at the tourist kiosk, Olivia arranged for someone to come find us and escort us which was very much appreciated. Enjoy beautiful Rome!

Your HOME in ROME, 2 STEPS from TRASTEVERE Station
Rome apartment

“Good location - friendly host.” The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Pino was extremely friendly and helpful with lots of good tips and information. He kept in touch by text throughout our week long visit. The area is local and not touristy, the apartment is set back in a block away from the road. There is a small supermarket across the road, and a market nearby and a good takeaway pizza restaurant. Access to the centre is very easy with a choice of buses and the tram only a few minutes walk away. The garden is a bonus for evening meals outside. When we stayed it was extremely hot, 38 degrees all week, there is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom but the other room where our sons were staying would have benefitted from a couple of portable fans. The mosquitoes were also out in force so I would advise plenty of deet insect repellent and citronella candles in the height of summer, there is fly screen on the main bedroom windows but not on the others. Make sure you pre-book the Vatican museums so you skip the queues which are very long, the bus around the corner takes you almost directly to St Peter's Square. It is also worth pre-booking tickets to the Colosseum. The park over the road is ideal for a leisurely Sunday picnic and makes a change from the hustle and bustle of the city. We would stay again but we would probably choose Spring or Autumn.

“Amazing!” Just arrived back in Sydney after 10 days away. Our last stop was Rome, and what a great stop it was. We stayed in Gianmarco's apartment in Trastevere and it was spot on. Very clean and tidy, very well situated and is very easy to reach all the most famous places (Vatican, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon ... ) . The area has many good restaurants and supermarkets . A great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. Gianmarco himself was considerate and helpful and showed us around the apartment and gave us some great information about Rome. He was very friendly and was willing to help us with anything we needed. The apartment was great. It was clean, good location and able to accommodate 4 people very well. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment.

“Large and Relaxing Spot in Rome” My aunt and I required a place with two beds during our 12 days in Rome. Simone's place was just the ticket. He made it very easy to check in and check out. The place was cleaned halfway through our trip and we just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Instead of a busy street outside, there was a farmer's market each morning. The location was close to Termini but in a great neighborhood. We walked everywhere, enjoyed fresh fruit every morning, and a vast selection at the wine store around the corner. The apartment was much larger than expected, was the perfect temperature all day due to the cross breeze, and had more than enough room to not feel like we were stepping on each other's toes. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfy. I would definitely stay here again if I came back and urge friends to use his place if they came to visit.

“Wonderful” Myself and my sister rented this flat for 5 nights when we visited Rome last week. Mr Ricciardi proved to be very helpful from the moment I contacted him to book this flat until the day we left. He provided us with very useful information which made our stay very enjoyable and safe. The flat was very clean and nicely decorated. The flat is located in a very safe environment and it has easy access to all the links to town. We will definitely book this accommodation on our next visit to Rome. We loved it. Thank you Giuseppe for being a caring and wonderful host.

“Loved the GreenSugar Home in Rome” After touring Italy and France for a month, staying in individuals' apartments, the GreenSugar Home was my favorite. Our family of 5 fit comfortably, and the kitchen was just large enough for us to cook in most nights. The neighborhood was a wonderful location, near one of the most fabulous local, open markets in the city, with plenty of other shopping available and easy access to the whole city. The host Cristina was a delight. Very responsive and helpful. Loved it!

“Highly recommended Roman apartment” My family and I recently enjoyed a weeks stay in this lovely apartment. The price was very reasonable for the amenities and location provided. Our stay was very comfortable and it didn't take long to travel to any of the major sightseeing locations. Gabriele was a very gracious host throughout the stay and was happy to help. Would definitely recommend this apartment, especially as an alternative to a hotel. Thanks again for your hospitality Gabriele.

ALL INCLUSIVE ACWIFI cableTV CELL. CENTRAL BOUTIQUE APT NAVONA / FIORI FIELD
Rome apartment

“Great Location and Accommodating Hosts” Walter and Natalia bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. Having a driver with our name at the airport, them meeting us at the apartment and reviewing our site seeing plans, the cell phone included (but no charger so it ran out of battery in a couple of days), their availability to help along the way, and the nice touches in the apartment were all excellent. The location is on a quiet little street that is quintessentially Rome, little shops, restaurants, a grocery, but close to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trastevere, and the Vatican, all very close. Wifi was great to have at home. Bathrooms very small, but typical of Rome I suppose. I only have two negatives to report. First, and most significant to me as a person with acute hearing, was the sound coming form the apartments above and below ours. I suppose since the weather was cool and at night we had the very sound proof windows closed that effectively blocked any minor exterior street noise (very little in the later evening), the apartment was very silent so you could easily hear the neighbors through the floors, especially above. The older gentleman above is apparently hard of hearing so he plays his TV and music quite loud, and at all hours. If i could speak Italian, I could have understood his phone conversations. When we mentioned it to Walter and Lia, they spoke to him and told us that he may have fallen asleep with the TV on (in the room directly above our bed) and that he would try to be more careful. The volume did seem to reduce after that, but it was audible by me and annoying trying to sleep, even with ear plugs, till 10:30 or 11:30 each night. Imagine what sounded like the Italian version of American Idol or some similar show blaring away till late. The man downstairs likes his music in the morning, so I could hear that too. The other small negative is that the living room was rather cramped and the two love seats were not all that comfortable. Therefore, for us, there wasn't really a super comfortable place to sit and relax after a long day of sight seeing. I could not imaging having another couple staying in this rather small apartment, unless you are VERY close friends. Unfortunately, there was scaffolding across the entire front of the building (south exposure) from street to parapet for some kind of repairs, and this prevented the front shutters from being opened completely, so the apartment was rather dark with not much natural light as a result. I did not see any workers the entire 5-night stay, which i suppose was good, but it also did not look like there was any progress being made. Plus it gave the homecoming each time a bit of a construction zone feel to it since the door was underneath the scaffolding. Too bad, but how would you ever know this? Walter said it was out of his control, which it was, so what can you do?

“Clean, Great area, and fully renovated. 100% satisfied!” We were welcomed by Giacomo, the owner, he took the time to show us in the map the places we had to see. He even walked us to a nearby restaurant. The place was Super clean, fully equiped with what we needed. Everything is new. It has a nice patio on the back. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night time. We'll rent it again next time we visit Rome.

“Perfect apartment in the middle of Rome” My husband and I stayed here during our recent trip to Rome and could not have been happier. The apartment is within walking distance to many of the sites is the city, i.e. Palentine Hill, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. We even walked over the Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori one of the days. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance as well. This apartment is also right by the Metro, which made it very easy to get to the Vatican and some of the other sites a bit further out. The apartment itself was fantastic. Very modern bathroom and a fully stocked fridge! We loved being able to make ourselves a Nespresso every morning that we sipped while we planned our daily activities. Clara even left us the most delicious blood orange juice, which was a treat for us americans :) The neighborhood is quite lively on the weekends with lots of little bars in the area. The one downfall was the height of the ceiling. My husband and I are both close to 6 feet tall and had to worry about bumping our head on the door frame coming in and out of the apartment. If you are on the shorter side, this place will be perfect for you. However, if you are over 6 feet tall, you may be crouching your entire time in the apartment. Overall, the place was wonderful and we will book it again our next time in Rome.
