“delightful from start to finish” I had a wonderful stay in the Cassia apartment, thoroughly well looked after by Christy who was kind enough to share her intimate knowledge of Barbados with me. This, of course, made all the difference to the enjoyment of my holiday there, which was my first visit to this part of the Caribbean. The apartment is part of Christy's home in Saint Michael, set in a largish garden with rustling bamboos and such a variety of trees and shrubs, plus Christy's organic garden and included a hammock to relax in. It is located within easy reach of the beach and also a short ride into Bridgetown. From my first evening, sipping cocktails on the white coral sand beach with the beautiful turquoise sea gently lapping and watching the sun dip below the horizon to swimming with the turtles, seeing my first drive-in movie to the bustle and excitement of the market and the delicious seafood there with music throbbing in the background the whole experience was so wonderful.

“Awesome” It's not often that one finds a place to call home and Cupid's Home is a home away from home. It was a vacation like I've never experience before. Everything was spotless. The condo was very self-contained to all my needs, and Mr. Cupid was most pleasant and accommodating. I also enjoyed the bonus of the vehicle he offers with the package, meaning no transportation issues, and the location was approximately 7mins away from any point of interest I wished to visit. I highly recommend staying at Cupid's Home, for an enjoyable and most relaxing vacation.

“Paradise Found!!” This was our third visit to Barbados but staying at Southern Marsh made this particular stay outstanding. The house is decorated with impeccable taste. It is very large with four bedrooms and three baths. It's as luxurious as our place back home. The full kitchen, dinning room/living room are complemented by a great backyard for eating al fresco or drinks. Location is perfect. A quiet 2 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap, grocery store and 5 minutes from beautiful Dover beach. The superb quality, value and location makes this the only place to stay in B'dos. The owners were particularly great to deal with and arranged airport transfers and special outings. I want to return today!!!

“Relaxed informal atmosphere with wonderful views and great hosts” Have stayed here many times that is a recommendation in itself.Met my brother his wife and daughter from California and New York who like me loved it.It's like home from home, the house is light and airy tastefully furnished with a wonderful wrap around terrace with views of the golf coarse and coast. Very quite and peaceful with a large pool you could be the only one there. A barbecue area and one of Carol's rum punches and all your cares disappear.

“The most relaxing spot. Ever.” Par's Place is one of the most relaxing places you could go for your vacation. If you really want to get away and be right on the beach, this is your place. There is a Supermarket right across the street with a pharmacy in it. You can also buy your rum there. The owner of the place is really great and will help you out in any way you need. The place is minutes from Hole-town if you feel like going out. But what I really like was the place felt off the beaten path but close to it.I would recommend this place to families all the way to couples looking for a great getaway.

“Happy days at Gingerbread Cottage” We,a family of four with two teenagers, spent 10 very happy days at Gingerbread Cottage. The cottage is absolutely charming and the location just stunning. You are so close to nature - our children ate coconuts and passionfruit straight from the trees. The garden is beautifully maintained and we often went for a walk, took our old bananas and fed them to the monkeys at the bottom of the valley. There is a nice breeze most of the time and that means hardly any mosquitos. The pool is huge and has the right amount of sun and shade. Gingerbread Cottage is equipped with everything you need and Carol and her family were very helpful and made us feel special. You do need a car to get to the beaches and shops. We enjoyed the freedom of not staying in a hotel. Thank you to Carol and her family - we will be back!
