“The Best Value in Baja” We have been going to Las Gaviotas for over 15 years and have used all kinds of different homes. Some good, some horrible. We were not quite sure what to expect from our first time renting from Denny, but we were very happy once we saw the beautiful location, very nice clean house, beautiful patio and views. The community has a pool, spa and great walking paths. I'm not sure what could have made it better. Starting with the booking process, the entire vacation was effortless. Denny was quick to respond and provided good communication on what the unit and area had, providing maps and directions for getting into this gated community. You get to park the car directly at the house. The unit is close to the guard gate, so I felt that we and our car were very safe. The unit is really laid back, just unpack and relax - but it does have everything you need to host a group. We brought some food and ate on the deck while watching the surf. Using Denny’s suggestions we were able to purchase beer and tortillas right up the road. The house interior was immaculate, with stained glass windows and local art on all the walls. The beds have beautiful carved headboards that gives one the impression that they are sleeping inside a seashell – very cool. The bathroom sinks are even painted by local artists. This shows that the owner really cares. The showers were sparkling clean and the kitchen appliances (including the refrigerator) were spotless and all worked great. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped - but the real draw of this house is the deck and living room area, where a group of friends can gather and grill up the local seafood or enjoy a kilo of the best carnitas (purchased at Denny’s suggested place in Rosarito Beach) - the best I have ever had. Good accommodations, secure community, great eats and drinks...yes we will be back. It pays to work directly with an owner and especially one who cares. We had a great time - thank you!

“Wonderful mountain getaway close to village!” Very nice cabin close to village. My family and I enjoyed our stay! Lots of room for the grandkids and great shaded patio to enjoy drinks and a bbq! Cabin was clean and owners were very accommodating! We would love to stay here again and again!

“Amazing!!!” I agree with all the previous reviews & then some. My husband said it was the only place he would leave Arizona for. I have to agree with him. We felt welcomed & couldn't get enough of the surroundings, flowers, river, the peace & tranquility. Patty, the owner, is a gem. Planning on returning real soon. Thanks so much Patty.

“Great Place!” Came here for a group of friends for the weekend and had a fantastic time visiting Sequoia National Park and hanging out by the lake. It's a nice place to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the houses were clean and nice. Would definitely recommend!

“Beautiful home, great location, heated pool” This home has it all. It is situated at the end of a quiet culdesac on Glendale's arrowhead Lakes. This beautiful home is furnished with style and quality in mind. The home is very spacious and has plenty of room for a large croud. The family room and eat in kitchen is the heart of the home. Large patio doors off the family room allows for indoor and outdoor living. A covered patio gave us shelter from the sun, while others enjoyed the pool, the sun, and the enormous surrounding deck. The heated diving pool was defiately a hit for everyone. Whether you relax around the pool or enjoy the shade from the covered deck, this place has it all. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens luxerious. The air conditioning provided comfortable tempuratures durig day and night. Just down the road is a grocery store and plenty of dining. A short drive will take you to all the shopping you'll want. Overall... a five star home and location. We will definately be returning to this property again. I would highly recommend this vacation property to everyone.

“Awesome house” We enjoyed the views in the evening. GREAT location centrally located to visit Yosemite, Kings Canyon, or Sequoia National Park. Good roads with scenic views. Liza responds to any questions quickly and the Caretaker Steve is a new west coast brother. He even called me a few days in advance to let me know the house would be available if I wanted to check in earlier in the day so we could have extra time to sightsee and he told me what roads to travel for the best views on the way in. it's not often you get a call offering to let you check in early. In a word awesome place!!!

“Lovely weekend with my hubby” My hubby and I decided to celebrate our 1 year anniversary with a mountain getaway. Of course, he spoiled me!!! This property was absolutely beautiful and had everything. Lake front property, kayaks, fabulous kitchen (and it's stocked with basic spices and whatnot, which made cooking super easy), beautiful views, hot tub, about 5 minutes from downtown. . . I could go on. The house has plenty of bedrooms and looked like it could accommodate quite a few people, so I will definitely be booking here again for a girls weekend (ok, maybe the husbands will be allowed to join)!!!

“Retired Accounting Officer” Had a great time!! Here are my concerns: -Leak under the kitchen sink. -jets in the master bathtub not working. -Oven light not working. -Dryer not drying clothes. Problem with the lent filter. Otherwise my guest really loved the cabin! Great place to vacation, and very clean. Thank you, Michael!! And I really enjoyed the snow on Saturday.
