“Wonderful stay!” We had a wonderful trip and the apartment was even better than we expected. We had no trouble getting ahold of Sonja when we arrived and she was ready and waiting for us after our taxi arrived. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Really like a home away from home although the apartment is slightly larger than our house so we reveled in the extra space! We spent the first week mostly hanging around Speightstown, going to the beach a lot and exploring the town. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning; it was wonderful to sit outside and watch the waves. Our son especially loved to stand on the balcony and watch the cars go by (go figure). We did have to rearrange some of the decorations to be out of his reach, but that was a minor thing and I think I put everything back in its proper place. :) The beach was very nice and private; we were the only people using it the vast majority of the time we went down there. All the rocks and coral did make it a little hard to wade with our two year old but we did find some nice sandy spots and he had fun going out a little deeper with us holding him. We spent the second week renting a car and exploring more of the island and found that Speightstown was a very good base for going to most of the attractions that we wanted to see like the wildlife reserve and animal Flower Cave. Overall, we had an excellent trip and would recommend Barbados, and this apartment, to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing family vacation.

“Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.

“Perfect! - We will be back!!” The condo was more beautiful than the pictures! What a great haven for my husband and I and our four teenagers. The kids loved the pool & beach. We loved the kitchen/living area. It was well stocked, beautifully done and a wonderful place to call home for a week. The convenience of the washer & dryer cannot be overstated with the kids. I also had wifi and the desk with the computer station so I could keep connected to my office - a necessity. Thank you Gus!

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“superb” lovely villa with stunning wrap-around veranda. beautiful master suite. good kitchen (we cooked dinner every night) . fantastic porch. peter, the owner, could not have been more helpful or pleasant to make arrangements with. and when one of our key-travelers was stranded in england due to the terrible snow, he suggested a very clever re-route (paris>st.maartens>nevis) that literally saved the family christmas. the villa is set in a large tended garden. lovely pool area. 7 minute enjoyable walk to oaulie beach - our favorite beach on the island (the fish tacos - incredible!). also near Gallipot restaurant - very good - and Ms June's that counts Oprah Winfrey among its former diners. monkey's visited the villa's grounds several times - to our great delight. we loved Golden Rock, the bar and south porch at Hermitage, the lobster salad at Montpelier... and Sweet Lips.

“Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. This was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Take Care!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Incredible” This is such a unique place it can't be missed. Location to various restaurants and shopping. The place it self is so beautiful and comfortable. We would highly recommend spending time there again. You will never see anything like this shell castle again. “The best place in Rio!” I stayed at Jane's beautiful apartment in Ipanema with my wife in Feb 2013 and it was the most perfect & luxurious apartment you could hope for. The apartment was spacious with nice modern decoration inside. The pool and the view from the pool is probably the best on the strip! Jane was so helpful from the moment we agreed to stay, months before our trip, always providing us with helpful info about the apartment and Rio in general. “Loved this house!” The layout of Limin house was perfect, lots of private areas to chill and a lovely open air veranda to come together. The attention to detail was noted from the great margarita and ice machines to flashlights in all rooms. Loved to be able to make coffee in the bedroom and the sit on the balcony early in the morning and watch the scene unfold below. We loved the huge outside BBQ and took advantage of having half our dinners in. Pool was fantastic with great views and gardens all around the property were lovely. Outdoor showers were great anytime of day! We had issues with our main fridge, but Deb (Manager) was very attentive and helpful and brought us ice if we needed. The freezer worked and there was a bar fridge by the pool so we all got lots of exercise. We understand things go wrong and it is hard to get parts etc on the island. The house more than made up for this and we didn't really care too much. we hope to be back in 2 years and would definitely stay at Limin House.

“The nicest vacation ever” My trip was wonderful, I met with Mr. Robinson outside the gate of the community so he could show me home sweet getaway. I had rented a car for the purpose of my trip, Mr.Robinson registered me at the security post so I could have easy access back and forth with my car. Before I go any further, Mr. Robinson is a very nice person he warmly welcome me to home sweet getaway. We enjoyed every inch of the house, the is beautiful and we'll equipped with all the amenities as advertised and located in a safe gated community. Also Mr. Robinson call from time to time to ensure that you are comfortable or need anything. Definitely it's the perfect home away from home. It's clean and tidy. It was spacious with all the comforts of home. The home was well stocked with all the things needed for preparing meals, clean towels and toiletries. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.
