“Excellent apartment with stunning views.” Very well equipped, clean modern apartment with the most stunning views. Huge balcony with table and chairs and loungers where you can watch the beautiful sunrises and just chill out. Pool just below and pretty grounds. Lovely welcome from Shirley and Andrew and Andrew was kind enough to drive us to the supermarket and back to stock up on essentials. Supermarket is about 10 -15 minutes walk away. Shirley/Andrew will also get supplies in for you ready for your arrival if you let them know what you want. Welcome pack on arrival with fruit, bread and the all essential beer and wine! Could have done with 3 loungers on the balcony rather than 2 as there were 3 of us. Lots of places to eat - Capri in the town square is good and all very good value - food is mostly grilled/barbecued fish or meat. Train station just a few minutes walk away from where you can go to Tavira (nice town), Olhao (great fish and veg markets) and Santo Antonio on the border. Very relaxing stay and very quiet - went late September/early October - so go before it gets developed.
