“Our stay at the Villa Palm Kuning was ideal.” The villa was lovely and provided all of the facilities that we could possibly want. The building itself was spotless and well maintained. We cannot say enough about the young man Wayan who cooked and cleaned for us. Even on the final day when we were leaving early he came to see us off to make sure that everything was OK and waited with us until our van arrived. We woulrd also like to thank Steve Castley who made the arrangements for us. This is the fourth time we have rented a villa through him and we have never been disappointed.

Huge secluded, luxurious & tranquil estate away from noise yet minutes from Ubud

“The best one yet” We arrived at the Bintang parking lot, met by 3 guys who are going to take our bags. Up a "rustic" stairs, down a path behind the grocery, then another path, then another..."what did we get into?" Last turn and you look across a rice field and find heaven. Beautiful grounds, great pool, almost total quiet, spotless, great breakfast...yet you're still maybe 15 minutes total walk in to "downtown" Ubud or 10 minutes up the stream bed and turn up into Penestanan. I'm doubtful that you can match this for privacy yet proximity to Ubud shopping and sightseeing. Landlord was incredibly responsive to emails. Driver/Guide most helpful. This was, just simply, one of those place that you kind of want to denigrate a bit so it will be available the next time for us, because we will return. The pictures understate the beauty and you can't hear the quiet in a photo. This is one to not overlook if you like privacy and still like to see what Ubud has to see and do.

“A Paradise House, Super Spacious. Lush, & Excellent Chef Too!!” My wife and I have traveled the world a few times over and rented a lot of places in the middle east, asia, europe. And our stay in Bali was one of the best experiences. We stayed here (May/June 2015) and enjoyed every minute. From the beautiful pool, privacy, many artistic touches, and Wati, an amazing, kind hearted chef (which is a unique treasure of this rental). You'll enjoy the many local dishes Wati creates. We even hired her for some cooking classes. Grounds and rooms were kept pristine and the house had everything we could of asked for (besides being located directly on the beach). We used Blue Bird taxi to go everywhere and booked a driver for a longer excursions to temples on the other side of Bali. Location is terrifically centric and accessible to the airport, Ubud, beach clubs, and the dozens of other places to see on this enchanting island. You can even book a in-home massage if you wish. I highly recommend renting this home without hesitation.

“Peaceful Retreat” We stayed here inFebruary, we were looking for a place to escape and relax. This villa was perfect. The owner was prompt in replying to our emails and Ketut was so helpful during our stay. We hired a motorbike to go into Ubud but loved the cafes in the little village so much that we ended up spending most of our time eating there. There were some leaflets for local businesses in the villa which we found very helpful too. The only negatives would be that it is very hard to find in a taxi (definately recommend pickup by Ketut)and that it is not a very private villa (but this didn't bother us at all).

“Perfect Villa” I and my wife and family (including our twins) stayed at Villa Kelusa for three nights in November 2014. One of the reasons why we wanted to stay there was because the pictures of the villa we saw on the internet were very attractive. We did have a little doubt that the real conditions would not be as good as the pictures. However, when we arrived at the villa (despite the villa's location which is not too close to the center of Ubud), the real conditions turned out to be the same as and even better than the pictures themselves. We loved the villa very much, the ambience, the view, the pool and also the manager and staff. Their hospitality and service deserve two thumbs up. The facilities were also great, they even have a good internet connection and cable TVs. If you ask us whether we want to stay again at the villa, given our impressions above, it seems that our answer will be crystal clear and that is a yes :)

“Just the break we needed” Thank you so much Barbara, Henry and Pia, for a wonderful stay in your wee bungalow. At a stressful time in our lives, your bungalow, the surroundings of Ubud and Bali itself, provided a much needed respite. Your recommendations of the lovely driver "Blue" and the local eating spots were ideal. Loved the outdoor shower, and everything we needed was provided for. Wine glasses in the bungalow would be helpful but we did have access to them in the larger house, so not really a problem. very comfortable bed and great breakfasts each day. Hope we can return some day.

“Great villa” The owner was a delight to deal with,answered all my questions and was very helpful.The driver picked us up at the airport and drove us to Villa Novellina,it was not central but on a scooter we could reach the beach and cafés in under 10 minutes.The villa it self was lovely,a huge bedroom large bathroom with shower and a round bath tub( only downside not enough hot water to fill tub).the indoor lounge was large and air conditioned.The outside area was fantastic with a great pool and relaxing area.And the staff were fantastic,would recommend this villa to all my friends.Thank you for a great stay.
