“Beautiful Umalas Villias.” This place was beautiful and clean with everything you would want in a well equipped Villa. Chef was amazing. Tried very hard to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. You would definitely need a taxi to head to the beach or to do some shopping. But nothing was too difficult or too far away. I would highly recommend the villas. And hope to come back soon. It was so peaceful. The owner was always ready to answer any questions we had and helped us tremendously. Along with her amazing staff. Which included the driver, security guards, housekeeper and chief.

“Beautiful villa, can't fault our stay!” A group of 6 of us, 3 couples, stayed at Villa 888 1 for 10 nights earlier this month. A friend recommended this Villa as she knows the owner, Janmaree. We are so lucky to have had this recommendation as our stay was heavenly. Two guests arrived earlier than expected and had a slight issue with check-in, as I think there was a little confusion and they weren't expecting the group till later in the evening, but when the 2nd half of our party arrived, we all settled in beautifully, straight into the magnificent pool, Bintang in hand! Wayan and Wayan were fabulous, tending to our every need, and providing local information and excellent servicing of the villa. The villa is a short walk from eat street in Bali, so we had access to everything we needed, but the villa is set back off the main street so it is quiet and peaceful most of the time. There are some constructions going on next door which made it difficult to have a sleep in if one wanted to. I would recommend checking when booking as to whether or not the construction is still taking place before committing to the booking if you're the type that likes to laze around in bed and snooze the day away. All in all, a great holiday, can't wait to go back, and would recommend Villa 888 and Janmaree and her team to anyone who wants a wonderful Bali getaway.

“Ideal for a family!!” We stayed at Umalas Retreat 2 in August, took advantage of cheap flights from Darwin and there opening special. Our family was not disappointed! Main bedroom extremely spacious, kids rooms well set up and all the amenities that one could ask for. Outside area was good, pool was clean and the kids loved it. Thank you so much to the housekeeper / chef she prepared us local food and we all enjoyed the experience, also thank you to Kay in helping us with the booking and providing us with idea of things to do in the area.

“What a find!” We are just back from Bali and I have to tell everyone about this amazing villa that we feel so lucky to have found. We have stayed in a number of villas in Bali over the years but Umulas Retreat is one of the few villas where the minute you walk in you know have found something special. We travelled with out daughter and the villa is stocked with games/videos/pool toys which meant that we didn't have to think about anything at all (other than working on our tans). The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, Juwini is not only an amazing chef cooking up a storm at the drop of a hat (we even had a suckling pig one night!) but a fountain of knowledge - is there anything this lady does not know. She made our stay one we will always remember and cherish and we are already planning our next visit. The villa itself is incredible, the decor is stunning (I'm planning on stealing lots of ideas) and is beyond comfortable, the beds are massive king size beds with the best quality bed linen I came across in the three weeks we spent in Bali. We loved walking through the area and discovering an abundance of new cafes's/restaurants that have popped up, but if we wanted to venture into Seminyak it was 5 mins away. We loved our stay and really can't recommend this villa to everyone we speak to.

“Stunning, stunning, stunning” What can I say I'm speechless. My partner & I have been going to Bali for the past 5 years & have stayed at villas that have been highly recommended, but we have been nothing but disappointed until we stayed at Villa Dayak-Asmat. We have finally found our home away from home. The cleanliness, the layout, the garden & the decor is nothing but outstanding. Yuni, the housekeeper was always on call if needed & Richard & his wife (the owners) took time out to come & introduce themselves, which was a nice touch. The villas are walking distance to the Bintang Supermarket, many restaurants & Jalan Seminyak one of the main streets. Congratulation to Richard & all the staff keep up the good work & you will see us time & time again. Thank you all once again for an amazing stay.

“Fantastic stay in a tropical paradise” We stayed at Villa Elleo over the Easter long weekend and we could not have been happier with our choice. To begin with Ketut was extremely helpful in helping us arrange our stay with timely responses to emails and even helping us arrange dinner on our first night as our plan was arriving late. The villa looked exactly like the photos and was extremely comfortable. The house staff were by far what made it an enjoyable experience, they were so friendly and helpful, organising massages in the villa, preparing breakfasts and fresh coconuts. We also thoroughly enjoyed Nyoman card tricks. With the night security Made we always felt safe and he even helped arrange late night take out for us. The villa has a perfect location, tucked away so it's nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the main area of Seminyak, with plenty of markets, and restaurants to choose from. Overall everyone was extrely happy with our decision to stay at Villa Elleo, and we would not hesitate to both recommend or re-book the villa for our next stay. Thank you Ketut, Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Made for a wonderful stay in Seminyak.

“Absolutely Sensational” We came to Bali directly from a holiday in India. The plan was to recover and relax in Seminyak after the mayhem of India. The moment we walked in the doors of Villa Firdaus 100X we knew we had made a good choice. As the week went by we revised that to a perfect choice! Apart from being extremely stylish and a wonderful place to relax, Nick, the owner, has thought of everything, there is nothing more a traveller could want. The sparkling pool, comfortable seating, Wifi, quality bedding, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, yummy coffee, to name a few and an amazing ambience. The location is great, a few minutes to good shopping and countless restaurant choices. Communication was easy with all emails responded to promptly. Overall a sensational experience that we will recommend to our friends and plan to repeat again very soon. .

The villa has everything you need down to the finest detail and after a long day in the hustle and bustle you can then relax by the 16 m pool and gardens with a G & T in hand. Location is great amongst the rice paddies and the beach 1km walk away. This is a surf beach but easy beach walk to Seminyak. Canggu deli and 3 restaurants at your door step. “excellent villa.” We stayed at Villa Jaya for 2 weeks. I would recommend this villa to anyone. We were well looked after by Ani and Sukri. The villa is spacious beautifully appointed and comfortable. Just a short walk through the complex and down a lane to the main shopping and eating areas. A very good restaurant at the front of the complex and also the Best Western next door. The complex is quiet and peaceful, after a day of outings. The pool and the barbeque are are a wonderful place for afternoon drinks. Wifi, cable and a comprehensive portfolio of places to visit. Next visit will be with the grandchildren in the very near future.

“Your own Private Oasis.” Great location. 5 mins in a cab to the heart of Seminyak if you do decide to leave the Villa. Amazing Villa to relax and enjoy massages, great beer (Bintang) and food. The staff were very friendly and attentive yet gave you enough space to truly relax. Highly recommend.
