“Beautifully appointed sea side serenity!” The beach house is absolutely beautiful! The B&B; suite retains much of it's original rustic charm with the large natual log columns and brick, then absolutely beautifully appointed modern decor to complete the warm welcome feel of this suite. Shelly will do nothing but spoil you while you stay in this little peace of west coast paradise. Take a stroll through the old school english style gardens and pathways in the rear of the Beach House. This is absolutely enchanting . . . and . . . if you look very very closely you may be one of the lucky ones to catch a glimpse of the fairies that live in the wood. If the suite and gardens aren't enough to relax your weary body then stroll across the street to Salish Sea Beach House's private little piece of the sea, for a stroll down the beach where Shelly hunts for "Sea Glass". I can't say enough about how absolutely beautiful this B&B; location is, how relaxing you will find it, and how wonderfully Shelly will take care of your needs.

“Wow your place is such a restful spot” Jeannie, we can't thank you enough for hosting my wife and I recently at Beachwood Cottage. Your place was everything that we could have hoped for and more. It was the perfect nest for us to relax in the sun, breath in the ocean-fresh air, observe the birds and wild life and pick fresh tasty vegetables from your garden for our salad. When we arrived it was clean and as described on the web-site. What a welcoming experience. “Beautiful, relaxing, charming - just the best!” Xanadu Estate is a short scenic ride north of Victoria. When we arrived at the property we were greeted by Jane who was an incredibly welcoming host. The property is set on beautiful acreage that was covered with all the wonderful colors of fall. The suite offered everything that one could want for a relaxing vacation. (It is just as the pictures show - large, comfortable, clean with all the amenities you could possibly want.)I was sorry that we were not able to stay a bit longer. It is only a short drive to many small communities, restaurants, shopping and the ferries. Around the corner is a wonderful little lavendar farm. Nothing could be better than to explore during the day and then come back to your wonderful suite to sit and relax with a glass of wine or a cup of English tea looking out over the beautiful view. I would love to return in the summer so that I could take advantage of all the wonderful outdoor activities that are available in the area. I would definitely recommend Xanadu to everyone - singles, couples, friends and families.

“Nothing was too much trouble” A lovely apartment in a quiet spot but convenient for local shops, the airport and ferry, and 20 minutes drive from downtown Victoria. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Kirk and Gloria were lovely hosts and we felt confident that if there was anything we needed then nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family and seeing a few sights. It was nice to have a place where we could just come and go (own entrance) without any bother. Gloria kindly drove me to the airport to pick up my hire car - she just offered. Good for a family of 4. Bedrooms were a good size and the lounge had plenty of space. I'd happily stay there again.

“Great things do come in small packages” Thanks to Angelika and Rob for their hospitality. Latoria guest suite is ideally situated in a location easily accessible to amenities but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of greater Victoria. You can find yourself in either suburbia, downtown Victoria, or hiking the southern coast of the island all within a 30 minute drive. Olympic View G.C. is right across the road and it was tough for me not to wonder over daily for a round or two. The home comforts provided were valuable during our two week stay while a family member attended Royal Roads University. The building is quiet which is great for studying or rest and relaxation as was our case. Being located in the same building as Red Barn Market was excellent so we were able to quickly pick food items up. Would definitely return in the future.
