“Wondeful, home like with great location and Grand owners” We were treated like family from the minute we were welcomed. Each bedroom and bath was clean, comfortable beds, plenty of storage space. a quite country like environment, yet close to many attractions, towns, and fun evening activities in nearby Doolin and Lisdonverna

“Wonderful” My Apologies to Freda for taking so long to write this review, My stay at Castle View was more than I could have hoped for on my first trip to Ireland. Freda was so accommodating and kind when it came to sorting the business out of booking. The cottage was perfect, Modern , clean and bright and because we stayed in November the open fire place just lent so much more to my Irish experience. The pubs are walking distance, the locals were so fun and interesting as I am sure we were to them as well ,,tons of belly laughs that's for sure!. Vaughan's Anchor Inn serves up incredible dishes absolutely 5 star cuisine and a short walk from the cottage! The beach and the Dock are also so close by and even in November it was lovely to explore! Doolin was fun, traditional music at O'Connors , the place was packed and fortunately we got to experience listening to a story teller, I never heard a bar that packed become so quiet I was in Awe!! The Cliffs were close bye and it was terribly windy, and breathtakingly beautiful . I was able to pick up all my souvenirs for my friends and family back in Canada right there at the Cliffs Of Mohar..a place I only visited in my imagination since I was small.. Thank you Freda so much and Trish I hope we did not leave you to much to do when we left, Thanks for leaving the key under the mat as we arrived pretty late.. Hope to return one day was a trip of a life time and banked in my favorite memories for ever!! Blessed!!

“A perfect holiday in a perfect cottage” First of all there was the easy check-in and the very warm welcome. We felt really at home at the cottage and didn`t miss anything. We enjoyed our irish breakfast in the big kitchen and although the weather was quite fine also enjoyed the evenings in front of the fire-place. The cottage is situated a little bit outside Kilfenora (a nice little town with three pubs and the possibility to buy food and everything you need) so that you have really quiet holidays. On the other hand offers County Clare so much things to see and do. It is no problem to visit the whole west coast of clare from Brook Cottage in daytrips. We also traveled to the aran Islands by ship. Last but not least there are very good golf-oportunities near by. We played Lahinch, Doonbeg (both are "must-haves" for golfers), Ennis, Gort, Kilkee and Spanish Point. It was our 7th time in irland and we have to say: Brook cottage was the best cottage we rented! “A lovely, comfortable, and roomy place in a good location” Eleven of us traveled over from New York and Boston areas to bring Dad's ashes over. Five of us stayed at the hotel, and six family members (ranging in age from 12-50) stayed at the cottage. It was located close to the hotel with nice views. The cottage was clean and and roomy, and contained pots and pans and dishes, etc to use for meals. We would definitely stay there again if the opportunity to travel over as a group arose. Ann was very kind and answered all of our questions - and she was available if we needed anything.
