“Lovely cottage in a peaceful neighborhood” I've been traveling to antigua for the past 6 years and this cottage is one of the most peaceful places I've stayed. The cottage is adjacent to Sarah and John's home and surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. The property is in a safe residential neighborhood about 3 minutes from antigua's kite-surfing beach. Sarah and John are incredibly generous and kind and make you feel at home. It's a simple cottage that has everything you need - and if you need anything else (like a rental car or restaurant suggestion) Sarah is there to help. I've stayed here multiple times already and highly recommend it. It's absolutely my favorite place to stay in antigua.

“Our visit Friars Hill Cottage” Very clean and well maintained. Great having landlord next door if assistance is required (propane was used up during a meal and they changed it immediately). Very friendly and hospitable to deal with. Good location. Easy access to grocery stores and beaches. Second time staying here and would do so again. Highly recommend.

“Excellent accomdation with superb hosts - just what we were look” This accommodation was excellent and just what we were looking for. We had researched many of the larger hotel resort type complexes on lots of different Islands across the Caribbean but preferred something more personal and less crowded and that exactly what we got with Gabby and Douglas at Yepton Cottages. Our cottage was very comfortable with a nice kitchen and living room area and an excellent veranda overlooking the lake. You could hear the sound of the sea from here and see the palm trees that indicated the back of the beach (less than a 5 minute walk away). This was an excellent place to start the day with breakfast outside. The only downside to the accommodation was the mosquitoes that would gather by the lights on our veranda once the sun went down. Obviously a certain level of mosquitoes is to be expected in the Caribbean but I think being by the lake made this worse at night. Gabby and Douglas were the perfect hosts - very helpful and incredibly welcoming. For instance on our first day in antigua Douglas spent a long time giving us some excellent advice on where to visit and what to see. And then Gabby drove us into town so we could do our food shopping for the week and even gave us the free use of a mobile phone for week. This sort of personalised treatment made us feel more like one of the family than a paying guest. Overall, I would definitely recommend Yepton Cottages, especially if you're looking for a holiday in the Caribbean without having to go down the all-inclusive, package holiday type experience. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, reasonably priced and with excellent hosts. We had a great week and were very sad to leave!
