“Movie-Star Location” We have been renting villas in Nevis for several years and also stayed at many other Caribbean islands. Coccoloba is by far the best and most luxurious we have stayed in. This was our second stay there and we cannot wait to go back for out winter trip. This time we brought our friends Chuck and Sue. The villa is very spacious and both bedroom suites are beautifully furnished with large doors opening sraight onto the deck and pool. Peter and Louise (the owners) went beyond the call of duty organizing everything for us before our arrival, meeting us at the airport and thoughtfully leaving the fridge stocked with food and drinks. There was even a fresh loaf of bread waiting for us. The car rental didn't show up as planned on our arrival so Peter lent us his car for the first evening! The road up to the villa is quite rough in some places and we were pleased we had a jeep. However, once there, the views are just breathtaking. The villa is set in amongst trees and forest with no immediate neighbours so it really is very private. We did have unannounced visitors on two mornings when about 15 monkeys came down through the garden! Although the photos on the website are beautiful they don't do it justice. The pool has a real infinity edge, the water seems to just fall into the sea below. During our earlier visits to Nevis we used to have sunset drinks at Sunshines bar on the beach by Four Seasons. This time we always made sure we were back on our deck. Watching the sunset from there was just amazing. As I mentioned before we do villa rentals 3 or 4 times a year. Compared to the others we have rented this has to be both our favourite and the best value for money we have found. I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone.

“Home away from Home Sealofts Unit #16” My family and I have been going to St. Kitts for many years, and have stayed in many different places but I can say without a doubt that Sealoofts Unit 16 was the most pleasant experience that we have encountered. The unit was well equipped with up to date furnitue and appliances, and every item that you could possibly think of was provided, right down to the wine opener! WiFi and a Magic Jack connection is available to make your communication needs with family and friends abroad convenient and inexpensive. Most importantly , Susan, the proprietor for Unit 16 has always been able to throughly answer any questions ,and show genuine conern about our level of comfort. This emaculate serene condo will not disapoint you,and after one visit it will be your home away from home! questions

Royal Palm Villas, Nevis

Nevis villa

“Fabulous Villa in Great Location” We stayed at the Royal Palm Villas with our 2 children for a week and had a wonderful time. The villa is spacious, light and bright with fabulous vaulted ceilings. Being fairly newly built the interior is lovely and decorated beautifully. We were close to all the best beaches and restaurants. Not only is Nevis a great island to visit but the villa was perfect for our needs with 2 children. It was great to have so much space to truly unwind after a long day sightseeing or relaxing on the beach. I would highly recommend this villa.

“superb” lovely villa with stunning wrap-around veranda. beautiful master suite. good kitchen (we cooked dinner every night) . fantastic porch. peter, the owner, could not have been more helpful or pleasant to make arrangements with. and when one of our key-travelers was stranded in england due to the terrible snow, he suggested a very clever re-route (paris>st.maartens>nevis) that literally saved the family christmas. the villa is set in a large tended garden. lovely pool area. 7 minute enjoyable walk to oaulie beach - our favorite beach on the island (the fish tacos - incredible!). also near Gallipot restaurant - very good - and Ms June's that counts Oprah Winfrey among its former diners. monkey's visited the villa's grounds several times - to our great delight. we loved Golden Rock, the bar and south porch at Hermitage, the lobster salad at Montpelier... and Sweet Lips.

Calamansi, private pool, 3 bedrooms/bathrooms, views, WiFi, AC, great reviews!

Charlestown villa

  • 3 bedrooms

“Wastin' Away again in Nevis” The first thing that I would like to say about Villa Calamansi is the that the pre trip correspondence with the owner Sue was absolutely top notch and ultra professional. We are a group of five adult friends who have been travelling throughout the islands over the last 14 years and staying in rentals. This year's choice of Villa Calamansi (we spent one week on St Maartens just before ) on Nevis was the best. Every detail about the villa is as exactly as advertised on this website. The value of the rental is also superb. We found the villa, island, and its people to be much more than we had expected. Being first timers to Nevis and not knowing what to expect, we were truly surprised by the "old Caribbean" feel. We rented a car which I believe is a must to be able to get out and explore the many beaches, plantations, and other sites. We ate breakfast at the villa with several pots of coffee each morning while sitting around the pool deck reading and chilling. We had late lunches at Lime or other beach bars after snorkeling or just bobbing in the waves and exploring. Back to Calamansi for cocktails on the porch. We played a round of golf on a golf course that is a ten minute walk up the road. Unique experience and too much fun to fully explain here. A must do while on Nevis. Great beach south of the Four Seasons and excellent snorkeling around the break waters. In I have to give an overall grade to this year's island experience I would give it a 11/10. We plan on going back but still have a few more islands to try first. Nevis and Villa Calamansi are true gems. Even better with owner Sue at the helm.

“Come and enjoy the view” I'm not sure what I can say that others haven't. This is a beautiful home with a million dollar view. Communication with Richard went smoothly. He was always quick to respond to questions. The property manager, Liz, met us at the house when we arrived. She helped us unload the groceries we had bought, then gave us a quick tour of the home. She was also quick to respond to questions we had prior to arrival. There were 7 adults in our group (6 originally, but my niece decided to join us). It was nice to find a house that had queen beds in all the bedrooms. I'm glad they put in air conditioning a few years back. I think the bedrooms would have been too warm for sleeping had they not had air conditioning. There is no air conditioning downstairs, which is fine during the day, but it did get warm overnight. My niece was sleeping on the pull out couch. To let you know, she loves the heat, but even she thought it was a little warm. Keep that in mind if someone is planning on sleeping downstairs. Also, she said the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. It may be find for young children, but not so much for an adult. Having the kitchen was great. We bought groceries for breakfast every morning and ate out for lunch and dinner. This saved us a few bucks. We found St. Kitts to be expensive when it came to the price of meals. The grill is a charcoal grill. Something we didn't realize until the guys got it out to cook the fish they caught (we're used to gas grills at home). Unfortunately there was very little charcoal and no lighter fluid, so we ended up baking the fish. If you plan on grilling, check the supply before hand. It wasn't worth the drive back to town to get the charcoal and fluid for one dinner. We enjoyed the Reggae Beach bar nearby. So much so, we ate there 3 times during the week. Just keep in mind they close at 6:00. Something we found out the night of our arrival, at 6:10. The Spice Mill was also excellent. Try the ribs, you won't be disappointed.
