“super place” We spent a lovely week here in the summer. The house was beautiful, and full of character...only complaint was the shower in the en-suite was miniscule, and the shower curtain would stick to your legs if you took a shower! The kids loved the barn...and so did the parents! Lots of things to do, pool, badminton, table tennis, trampoline, darts etc even when it was raining. Beautiful cake was made for us on arrival...yum! All in all it was a great place to return home to, when we had a day sight seeing or shopping! Little patio at the back is a real sun trap in the morning, and we sat at the front in the afternoon. The owners were really friendly, yet give you your privacy which was really appreciated!

“wonderful country retreat” The Old Dairy is a fantastic country holiday retreat. You can walk for miles and miles without even getting in your car,,, our dogs loved it. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable, warm and inviting. We spent our days walking our dogs, coming back, lighting the fire, making dinner and cozying up in front of the fire and a DVD. It was our idea of heaven for our Xmas break. No stress and wonderful hosts,

“Hot tub heaven” This is our second visit to the Old Barn. Visitors may be a bit surprised on arrival as the property is part of a business, with commercial property and vehicles close by. Don't let that put you off. The property is excellent, with excellent underfloor heating, power showers, 4 poster bed and a hot tub among many features. The owners are on site and if there are any problems they can assist virtually immediately. What more can I say? Ah yes, the hot tub. I wonder how much they cost.

“Peaceful Scenic and nice people” Finding this place was the only initial problem, but it was worth it. Very close to Ironbridge gorge museums. Very friendly owners.

“Didnt stay in this building ...” Gor the dairy instead so people who had booked didnt have to move out & back in. Very lovely people & dog, Molly on working farm in very quiet area. Barn owl flew over car on approach to house. So cosy & had everything we needed for weekend break. One place I would go back to & not just for homemade cake on arrival. Did find farm hard to find due to lack of lighting on road through but no real problem

A lovely welcome awaited with tea/coffee/sugar/milk/flowers, and best of all - home made cake! The rustic charm of the cottage and the decor just made it feel so relaxing, and having Teeny Bop the cat to stay was such a bonus. She's getting older and not having to put her to the cattery was great! She had a great time exploring the cottage and loved the little chair by the back door! The cottage is well situated to allow travel to many interesting places, and even a few trips into Wales. Loved the scenery; the location; the family couldn't be nicer, and the play barn was great - even for us older kids! We will definitely be back as there's still so much to see on the doorstep. A Shropshire adventure

A lovely well thought out property which was a fantastic base from which to explore beautiful Shropshire, which exceeded our expectations. Owners were around but unintrusive. Lovely play barn if you have little ones. Our dog enjoyed her first holiday and the little courtyard is secure. Aside from the muddy cow fields opposite, which we wouldn't recommend a walk through, although we did laugh a lot, there are some fabulous places to visit and walk.
