“Best vacation rental we've ever had!---convenient and luxurious retreat” We've stayed in places all over the world and this was by far the nicest place we've ever rented. The pics, descriptions and other reviews say it well. And you're close enough to all the sights and attractions of Bali but removed from some of the craziness. And you get at least a little taste of life outside the tourist zone by roaming the residential streets where the villa is. For those who worry about such things, we weren't the least bit concerned about safety--even with our 2 beautiful teenage daughters along. And once you figure out how to book taxis etc., it's very easy to come and go. By all means, take up the chance to have Wati (the housekeeper etc.) cook some local food for you. The meals she prepared were definitely the best we had all week. Many of the restaurants in the tourist ghetto serve the same things with the spice levels pulled way back. The food Wati prepared was amazing! We can't recommend highly enough booking the Bali tropical house for a wonderful respite in this beautiful part of the world! Best of all are the many sitting areas where you're serenaded with the sounds of tropical birds, the crowing roosters, and sights of the ocean from the top floor studio. This is truly an oasis.

“Very nice villa” We spent 1 week at Villa Madu. We had a very good time. The house is very well decorated. Every object, every room, every decoration (basically everything) has something special. On top of that, the staff is very nice and helpfull. With a special mention to Nurdi (for her smile and her amazing cooking talent). We would like to keep it just for us. But that would be unfair, so we strongly recommand this house.

“The most perfect holiday imaginable.” The photos on the website looked impressive but nothing could have prepared me for the comfort and beauty of Villa Vajra. The site is spectacular--lush gardens and vegetation, filled with orchids and tropical foliage, the villa itself spacious and so comfortable. Three of us stayed in the villa for five days; it could easily have accommodated six. The staff was incredibly helpful, the food beautifully prepared and delicious. A car and driver were at our disposal, and when we invited a couple of friends staying elsewhere for dinner it went off without a hitch. And finally, it's a pleasant walk or short drive to Ubud, culture capital of Bali I heartily recommend Villa Vajra to anyone who wants a restful, idyllic, bordering on spiritual Haven. Np

“A conseiller tres fortement” Hotel incroyable... Que de bonnes surprises et notre coeur est partage entre la douceur des lieux et la gentillesse du personnel. La grande piscine surplombe une belles vallee verte. La suite est superbe ainsi que la vue qu elle offre. Resto tres bon... Les services sont remaquables... Ils ont recupere nos bagages perdus a l aeroport, ils nous ont laisse les aider en cuisine pour apprendre la cuisine locale, nous avons prefere les adresses proposees par l hotel plutot que par nos guides, velos a disposition pour sortir de l hotel et visiter les environs et les locaux toujours souriants... Du coup on a prolonge d une nuit notre sejour... Le leger point negatif, un peu loin de Ubud, par contre navette a disposition a volonte. Un grand merci au personnel toujours presents et qui nous ont soigne comme des rois. A tres bientot dans se petit bout de paradis...
