“Your Villa was just breathtaking!” Your Villa was just breathtaking. From the moment we walked in and saw the beautiful view through the picture windows to all of the wonderful amenities and lovely staff. The Villa meals were great and the ladies unobtrusive, helpful and charming. I particularly loved the outside massage bale and found it so relaxing to have a massage while listening to the waves on the beach. The pool was also one of the nicest I have seen during my travels, overall it was a wonderful experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending your wonderful Villa to anyone and everyone. Please pass on my appreciation once again to the lovely ladies who took such great care of us.

“One word: superb!” Our stay in Villa Bossi Tanguwesia was truly magnificent! We have enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The villa is beautiful, nice spot on the ocean. Don't expect a nice beach to sit and swim in the ocean, but the huge pool makes up for it and it was just plain marvellous to hang out in the cozy gazebo at night with the tranquil sound of the ocean on the background. The staff was excellent and cooked wonderful Indonesian meals for us. Madé, the driver for Villa Bossi, was by far the most fun, best and knowledgeable driver we experienced during our two weeks on the island. We sincerely hope to return to Villa Bossi one day...!

“Relaxing escape” Had a very pleasant few nights with my family at the Vineyard last month. A much needed escape from the stresses and strains of city life in Surabaya and a far cry from the frustrations of South Bali. Kids (aged 9 & 6) enjoyed running around the spacious grounds, playing footie, jumping from the pool house roof into the pool, exploring the beach and searching for the gecko we could hear but not see - found it in the end! The landlord, Mike, organized a fabulous Babi Guling for us (suckling pig) which fascinated the kids and revolted some of the adults :-). We were staying in the ills at the same time as the owner and his family and the calm was only disturbed by Mike who was running around sorting things out for guests who were due to arrive in the following weeks. The Vineyard is a place to relax. It's remote in as much as it is a careful drive through the paddy fields to get there, drive carefully and keep your eyes on the road - don't go waving enthusiastically at people when driving or you might end up in the paddy field - ahem! The villa is close to Singaraja (5 mins), a very traditional Balinese town, not over run with tourists and only 20 minutes to Lovina - for a few more touristy options if that's what you want. Service from Katty and her niece was fabulous, with lots of perfectly cooked traditional food. There were a few things in the villa which needed some attention, such as the water pressure in our bathroom and a few nuisances such as mosses and ants, but hey, this is a true home in the tropics not Club Med. A bit of bug control was administered, and all was fine.

“Perfect Getaway” I stayed here with a group of friends for 7 nights in December. Everyone was impressed by the hospitality that was shown by the staff members, nothing was too hard for them to do. We had a beautiful night in the villa where the girls cooked an indonesian feast, certainly a highlight of the trip. The villas are clean and quiet, nice comfy beds, a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. The transfers went smoothly and the driver- Wisma was very friendly and helpful in answering questions about the scenic drive. Overall, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay and a number of us have returned to the villas since the trip as we have never experienced villas and service like this before in Bali.
