“Wonderfully relaxing cabin” We loved our stay at the Sandy River house. It snowed 1 ft. the night that we arrived and had an awesome day waking up and walking to the roaring sandy river right on the property. The owner was easy to work with, the master bed was very comfortable and we would love to come back there to stay for our next ski trip. It is pretty close to the mountain but not in a resort- more of a quiet area to relax after a day of skiing.

“Perfection!” This rental home is perfectly situated for easy access to the slopes, but is so luxurious and comfortable, you might just want to stay in and take a soothing jacuzzi under the stars with a glass of wine instead. The house is immaculate and has everything you might need to relax, make a gourmet meal and enjoy the crisp mountain air. Loved it! Great value for the money too.

Great stay

Book. This. House! This is the second time I've rented this house and it's a great deal. First off, the owner gets back to you right away about availability and booking. If needed he can provide some tips on the area and where to go adventuring. The house itself is extremely clean and obviously well taken care of. Both times I didn't notice a single thing out of place. There are 3 bedrooms and a spacious open living room where you can lay by the fire and read. The kitchen is big, stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and other cooking essentials. Cozy is the best word to describe the place, but that doesn't do it justice. It's warm, quiet, great access to Mt Hood skiing, and you can hear the Sandy River flow by. There are books, board games, and movies for entertainment. Vacation at it's best

I have stayed at this property twice now and it was better than I remembered going a second time. It literally has all the comforts and conveniences of home. We had a blast. I have taken advantage of the spa services at the lodge and they are literally "out of this world". Don't miss that experience. My daughter went to the slopes nearby each day to snowboard and has raved about the wide picturesque slopes ever since. We have gone to some of the wonderful local restaurants. Don't miss the pizza at Zigzags up the road. The home is very tastefully decorated as well as being comfortable. You will feel spoiled!! Trust me, you won't go just once.
