“Great stay!” Beautiful place. Lots of windows, balcony, comfortable. The hummingbird feeder was a plus. Weather did not allow us to take advantage of the outside property, but the large windows provided a beautiful backdrop. Since we were all past 70 the stairs were somewhat a challenge, but very safe. We will try to book Wimberley House again.

“Great Hill Country Retreat” Our stay was amazing from the time we drove thru the front gate. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything you could possibly need. The clear water creek along the back of the property was by far the highlight for us. The beautiful pool and hardscape was a great attraction. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. Our prime location felt secluded but we were only a 1/2 mile from restaurants, grocery stores, and small shops in the walking square. Our host checked on us as we arrived and as we left ensuring everything was just as we expected. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

“Great home to stay at while in Texas hillcountry!” My wife and I stayed at this home for a few days in September. The property was very nice, and quiet. The house was completely clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the deer that came to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Wimberley was a trading post settlement in 1848. Though the town has moved on since then, there are still some of the old houses which you can go take a look at during your stay.
Though it suffered some damage in the 2015 flood, Wimberley is coming back fighting and is a great place to spend a relaxing week-long vacation.

Hike around the Blue Hole Regional Park and be amazed at how tall the cypress trees are! There's nothing quite like it in the rest of Wimberley!
If you're looking for adrenaline, take a zipline tour of the forest – it's fantastic! Though not to be tried if you're scared of heights!
For a little bit of culture, head to the Corral Theatre or Jack Glover's Cowboy Museum – you'll get a great feel of the Ol' West!
