“Breathtaking” This rustic cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Being up on the mountain we were out of the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to venture out if we wanted to. The views from the porch were spectacular, especially as the sun came up, which you can watch from the comfort of the bed through a large window! The inside of the cabin is charming, with all of the comforts home including a full kitchen, bathroom with a stand up shower. The cabin was quiet and despite the owner, George being upstairs we felt alone. George is a great host! He is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a quick tour of the cabin and best spots for pictures when we arrived. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer! We will be going back. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a quiet, secluded, cozy place to escape in the mountains.

“Park place apartments” That relocated us to a 2 bedroom it was very nice and nice area it didn't have a king bed in master bedroom it had double beds the mattresses were not good I sleep in a king bed at home it's a good mattress

“Wonderfully relaxing” My husband, 1 1/2 yr old, and myself vacationed here as a babymoon and it was so relaxing and beautiful. The condo was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. It is a very short walk to the beach and very quiet. There is a lot of space for a 2 bdrm condo and we loved being able to have meals there instead of always eating out. I have no complaints at all! Kathy was always very responsive and extremely flexible. We look forward to coming back soon!

“Pleasant rural escape from the city” I had the opportunity to stay at Wihakowi Campground for three nights in april of this year. The sign leading to Camp Wihakowi clearly states “Bed and Breakfast – You Make Both” – the owner’s sense of humor is endearing. The owners did not hover around but were often seen working about the campground. They were very friendly and always asked if there was anything I needed. I stayed in the “Hemlock” cabin”, which was both comfortable and charming. It was nicely decorated in a rustic manner with comfortable furniture. The fridge was stocked with locally grown eggs, locally baked bread, juice and other items needed to prepare myself a delicious breakfast. The cabinets were stocked with any cooking utensils, dishes, etc. that might be needed. The cabin had a separate bedroom with a bathroom and shower. Towels and linens were clean and available. The bed was very comfortable and afforded a good night’s sleep every night of my stay. The cabin had a deck on the back with patio furniture where I could sit outside, enjoy the beautiful view and listen to a mountain stream. Wireless internet was provided and utilized without problem. I was pleasantly surprised that cell phone reception was very good for being in a mountainous area. The campground has multiple cabins for various uses. There was a troop of Girl Scouts that stayed in a bunkhouse one of the nights I was there, but no noise traveled to my cabin and I was not disturbed in the least. If you are looking for a pleasant rural escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, Wihakowi Campground is for you!

“Excellent "headquarter" for exploring Shenandoah” We stayed for a week and was very satisfied with both location and the room and its facilities. Their was always a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the landscape or read regardless of the weather - either on the lawn or on the porch. We were primarily interested in hiking in the surrounding mountains and visiting historic sites and for that it was a perfect "headquarter" for the week we stayed.

“Very Satisfied with the whole rental process and loved the apart” Renting the apartment was very easy and emails were always answered promptly. Virginia met us at the apartment on our arrival and was very nice and informative. The apartment was just like the pictures, no surprises! It was very clean and had more than enough room for our family of 4. We also liked the location - between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The beaches at Hollywood were less crowded and just as beautiful. The 2 pool areas were really nice too!

“Wonderful Stay” A short drive from Moab this condo worked extremely well for two retired couples from Canada. Spacious and well equipped including a good selection of condiments and spices we easily prepared our dinners and made good use of the BBQ. The owner , Marta was wonderful to work with. We stayed for a week hiking and visiting the National & State Parks and Scenic drives in the area. A five minute walk from the condo took us to a beautiful Petroglyph Panel.

“love love loved!!” This was a beautiful and comfortable stay!! The name suits it very well! Not only do you wake to the waves, but to fall asleep to them is even better!! I loved the simple walk to the beach and the convenience of the pool!! I must admit, being able to watch my husband and kids play on the beach while i watched from the bedroom balcony was by far my favorite!! Love love loved it!! Thanks cheryl!! “Outstanding Condo” We were very impressed with the condo from the minute we walked through the door. I feel like it is our home away from home and am looking forward to going back soon. The condo was VERY clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for our family, including a charcoal BBQ grill outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and the furniture looked brand new. We went to the beach during the day and to the pool and Jacuzzi in the evenings. There is a pool/jacuzzi across the street from the condo, which was very nice and then a bigger pool a short drive away. The residents we met at the pool were very nice and welcoming. We made use of the balcony to relax in the morning with a cup of tea and in the evening with a nice cold beverage. The True Blue grounds are nicely landscaped. We had previously stayed at other condos in the Myrtle Beach area, but we will never go back that way. This is way more laid back and not so commercial. Lots of local shopping spots, we liked BiLo supermarket, Bargain Beachwear, Quigley's for dinner (get the nachos) and definitely go to Surf The Earth. We did drive to Myrtle Beach - Broadway at the Beach for an evening of something different to do. I can't wait to come back for another visit. I highly recommend Mickey's condo for your family.

“Perfect for two couples” Great place for a one week stay! We went down there as two couples and we found it perfectly comfortable. The kitchen was nice, the den/second bedroom was comfortable, had a rustic feel to it and the master bedroom was very cozy. The bathrooms were a little small, only shower space, no bath, but perfect for a beach vacation. Not directly on the beach, but 30 second walk across the parking lot and right there. The view from the front is great, you do see the bay and you can see Provincetown lit up at night. It was a nice quiet place. Thank you so much Jean!

“We had a wonderful experience and appreciated having a spotless,” Two big thumbs up for a memorable, unique vacation! We had the best time seeing a lot of sights and experiencing the various area attractions. The Blue Ridge Mountains wrapped in early morning fog were almost ethereal in their beauty, and staying in such a lovely, homey cabin was truly a joy. The cabin was welcoming and cozy in every way -- clean, very well kept, and so comfortable. The scenery was breathtaking from the rocking chairs on the wraparound deck. Although we did not use the hot tub, it was available for us to enjoy. Our entire stay there was a delight, a welcome and warm haven after the harsh Wisconsin winter. “Lake Placid Lifestyle” We've stayed here several times in the past, and have reservations for a week in October. Great location - a 4 block walk (over a hill) to Lake Placid's Main Street for restaurants and shopping. 2 bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, a small balcony, nice Adirondack decor. It makes a wonderful base for exploring the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. It has a gravel driveway and a flight of stairs to get in, so it is not handicap accessible.

“Marvelous, Relaxing Place/Gracious Owner” I cannot say enough complimentary things about this condo, its location, its condition, and most of all its owner. We had checked with Susan, the owner, about renting one of her places. When she had a late cancellation of the beach condo, she called US. Gave us great price, great arrival/departure leeway, accepted numerous phone calls and was SO gracious each time. The location is great, the beach/weather was marvelous. Very easy trip to Historic Charleston. We cannot wait to go back and will definitely check with Susan FIRST!!

“Quiet relaxation” We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is on the third floor, so there’s great views of the grounds, and a walking path to the ocean and pier. The Plantation was extremely quiet, and the people we did come across were welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean, cozy, stocked with necessary kitchen and even toiletries for the bathroom! That was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time sitting on the screened porch listening to the fountains and birds. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails. We definitely recommend this as a vacation spot, and will be back.
