Panglao Villa Bohol with swimming pool perfect for family reunion

“Excellent holiday destination at Panglao Villa” The villa was perfect for our family holiday. There was space for the children to lounge around, great DVD collection and decent a/C in the bedrooms. Walled garden meant that we knew where they were at all times. Its all beatifully maintained. The villa is about 5K away from alona beach (best diving shops) but I never had a problem getting a 30 peso backie on a motorbike or a 50 peso ride in a tricycle at any time of the day or night. Panglao village seems to be a very quiet spot and we were bemused as to why the villa needed a 24hr guard, however, the guards wife is available for 200 pesos a day to wash your clothes, shop, cook meals if you like and tidy up for you. She is worth it. There is some OK sandy beach nearby Panglao Villa but my family tended to travel to the Bohol beach club each day for their raked sand beach, palm trees and choice of pools, 250 peso day membership. We were very well looked after from collection right the way through to dro p off at the Tagbillaran airport. Downsides Double bed was a bit soft for my liking, no guest file of suggestions for family outings, only 1 bistro restaurant in walking distance from the villa. All in all this is a place that we could recommend to our friends.

“Stunning, you are left wanting for nothing except more of the sa” A fabulous week, just what we needed. A great team looked after our every need. We especially enjoyed paddling down the lake for dinner, to be the only guests at the restaurant, and then paddling back. Stunning home away from home, allowing quality family time. “Life changing experience!” Please convey my heartfelt thoughts to Wayan and Putri for their exceptional care and love that they showed my Daughter and myself during our stay. I didn't give enough credit when Wayan asked me about my preferences when we switched to staying at the home closer into Ubud. We honestly preferred the Swallowhouse after experiencing the second location because of the comfort of the beds, the fantastic night air, and the incredible culinary delights that Putri graced us with! Being a Master Chef, I have great appreciation for the meals that she provided. Also, being a world traveller, I can't express enough gratitude for the care that Wayan took for our tours and giving us a life changing trip and precious memories that I hope to build upon when we return to Bali. As two very adventurous women traveling alone, he provided all the added information and kept us safe during our entire stay. We feel incredibly honored and blessed to have visited places like the temple ceremony, his son's school, and his home compound and village, along with the authentic crafts and artisan villages that he supports. We loved seeing the "real" Bali and meeting the generations of families who share their generations of knowledge and products for those interested in having that kind of experience. Wayan asked if there were any suggestions that we could give and honestly, there is only one to have greater internet access for both Mac and Pc owners. However, I say that reluctantly, because a huge part of the charm and beauty of the Swallowhouse lies in being able to really unplug and become immersed in the culture and experience of Bali. There will always be travelers who need the upscale comforts but let them go to the big hotels ~ you honestly don't want that kind of person staying with you anyway ~ that comes from my years of working at The Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons! (high maintenance people are not fun!)

“amazing” We rented this apartement to celebrate christmas and new year in patong. We can only say: Amazing, amazing. The best view in town. “Great Location, with all the facilities.” Awesome place to stay. The apartment has plenty of space with all the facilities. Loved the huge pool, kids club, gym and beach club facilities are great. Service within the resort is great, with ample food options that is reasonably priced. As frequent travellers to Bali, we rate the Nusa Dua Penthouse up there with the best.
