“Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.

“Great stay in Playacar” We stayed at Casa Price for a week in February 2014, and loved it. We have visited the Playa del Carmen area previously and can't beat the location in PlayaCar. Quick access to the powdery white sandy beach and the beautiful Caribbean, Casa Price has everything we needed. Great views from the open living area on the second floor, the balcony and the roof top terrace. Satellite TV, internet access and laundry were all a bonus and made our trip more enjoyable. Rosa was a terrific in every way; she cooked, cleaned and looked after all the details in the house so everything was perfect. Everything was as promised! Thanks for sharing Casa Price.

“A little paradise!” I stayed at Sophie's house in Merida twice with some friends. The house is very beautiful, and huge! The two rooms are really far apart, and both have toilets, which is perfect for privacy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and there's a nice dinning room. But the real highlight of the house is the backward. There's a part of it that has a ceiling and hammocs, which is perfect to relax when the sun is too hot, and even when it rains. And to pool is amazing too! Apart from that, the house is well-located and you can easily walk to the center and the shops and markets to buy some food. I had a great time there both times and wouldn't hesitate to go back anytime!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “Perfect home away from home” We brought our 11 and 16 year old down here for a month to immerse them in a new culture and give them a little better understanding of the world beyond their back yard. This house was the perfect place to stay for a long-term authentic Cozumel experience. The interior is bright and welcoming, with super-comfy furniture and pretty decor. We loved the neighborhood which is in a residential section. Nice neighbors and daily life going on all around you - not the tequila-blanket-sequined sombrero touristy version of Mexico. The wonderful housekeeper Fabiana is worth every penny. I suggest you have her come in once a week and tip her generously. Once you see her work you will understand why. Kelley is an outstanding property manager as well. She will take care of any problems you have quickly, as well as give you great tips about where to go for great food and fun and directions to it. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful time on Cozumel and we enjoyed every minute. The little house-gecko is a great addition as well- sort of a bug zapper with personality. (Also nice if you have pets that you miss. A four legged anything is nice to come home to)We plan on staying in Casa Lucia when we return ( which I hope will be as soon as possible!) to Cozumel. If this home is available when you are planning to visit, do yourself a favor and snap it up. You will get great value for your money and have a wonderful, comfortable,authentic place to stay.

“Sweet Spot On The Mayan Riviera” We were thrilled when we first walked onto this rental property and we stayed thrilled through to the end of our stay. We liked it so much that we travelled back there the next year. The house was spotless, the caretakers were friendly and they went out of their way to help us out. The pool was definately our favorite feature, we loved the fact that it was all our own. The beach is just a hop, skip and a jump away and the nearest city is about a 15 minute car ride, which is close enough for dinner and shopping but far enough away to be quiet at night. The house is gorgeous and the a/c came in handy for sleeping. We rented a car and traveled to Mayan ruins during the day and relaxed poolside at night. We really couldn't have been happier with the place!

“Perfect stay” This is a very nice place, wonderful garden and skillfully decorated, well equipped, rooms. Very quiet, not directly at the shore line but in walking distance to half moon bay. Dan and David are so helpful with anything you might need. They are very knowledgable about the area and give great tips about what to do.

“Playa Paradise” We spent three weeks in this beautiful, spacious unit, in a perfect location. It is right on the beach, next to Wicky's Beach Club, which has very afordable lunches. We like being on the ground floor because there's usually more outdoor space and it's usually easier to get to the pool and beach. This was truly the case here. The unit had a huge patio and an extra patio one step up from the normal sized one with an abundance of patio furniture - then, only down a few steps to the pool. The kitchen was large and mostly well-stocked, with purified water delivered at checkin and throughout our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive. There was an extra den-like room at the entrance, for extra sleeping or quiet time, if needed. Both baths were good sized, one with a washer/dryer combo. Daily maid service was provived by very friendly staff. There isn't much to improve on in this unit. We did have problems with the phone and internet connection, but we were in Mexico and it did take Telmex a week to get to us. I would only add a few things - a few more pans for cooking, and one more chair in the living room. There was one couch and one chair in the living room of the two bedroom unit which slept 6. Also, which we found strange, there was a curtain which could cover the patio door but nothing to cover the side windows in the living room, kitchen and den, which overlooked a walkway to the pool. There were shades which you could use during the day, but you could see through them at night. We ended up using towels to cover the windows at night. We did have ants in the kitchen, on the counters - possibly because there are plants and lots of dirt next to the kitchen wall. Lots of mosquitos and no-see-ums when we were there.

“Our Secret Oasis in Playa Del Carmen” We were a group of 9 adults each requiring separate bedroom suites. When I discovered The Penthouse - La Maison Mauresque, I immediately fell in love with the web-site's pictures & description. Every architectural detail seemed amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners, Rod & Angelic, who made our stay the most memorable experience I've ever encountered on any vacation. They are truly an amazing couple with lots of humor, patience and a wealth of knowledge of local resources. We arrived during an unexpected tropical storm and immediately thought the worst, no beach. The villa proved more than spacious even on the rainy days that held us hostage indoors.No one ever lacked privacy.If you desired a quiet reading spot there were many common, yet isolated areas for our enjoyment.For those who wanted to enjoy the outdoors while Mother Nature unleashed her fury,there were several palapa covered areas. Rod's concierge provisioned the villa and arranged a private spa day in what seemed like a matter of minutes, unbelievable!! The amenities were understated: like the daily house keeping. Rod continued to apologize for Mother Natures timing and proceeded to set-up a movie theatre on the spot,one of many hidden amenities, the 100ft screen was a surprising bonus. I must say the highlight of the trip were the outdoor adventures that Rod and angelic afforded us. When I shared with them my list of desired excursions, they immediately offered to accompany us and share with us there most favorite places: The ruins of Tulum; Swimming with the turtles on the beaches in akumal then dining at the most amazing seafood restaurant serving awesome food and potent cocktails on the beach; Dining at a restaurant that is also an underground cave; Dancing to a live Cuban Band and Just when you think you've seen it all Rod & Angelic take us to the most amazing private Cenote-Santa Cruz. We have formed life long friendships and are planning our next trip to La Maison Mauresque.
