Description
You're sure to love everything about this beautiful mountaintop home with panoramic mountain views visible from nearly every room in the house.
The open concept great room on the main level has a wall of windows overlooking the view, with comfortable leather furniture arranged around a stone wood burning fireplace and a large Smart HDTV. One corner holds a dining table with two benches on either side, and the opposite corner has a full kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Off the great room is a half bath with a laundry closet.
The master suite on the main floor has a King bed, HDTV, and a private full bathroom with double granite vanities and a spacious walk-in shower. The main level deck has a picnic table, gas grill, as well as Adirondack chairs to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Downstairs is a second living area with a pool table, seating area around another large TV to enjoy your favorite shows while playing a game, a full bath with combination tub & shower, and two more bedrooms each with a King bed and a TV. The lower deck has a four-person hot tub with fountain waterfalls and LED lights as well as more seating to take in the views.
Perfectly located atop Appalachian Ski Mountain, close to both Boone and Blowing Rock and every High Country attraction, Aussie's Den is sure to become your new home away from home!
In early Summer 2015, we visited the North Carolina High Country and fell in love with the view this lot offered. Our sweet elderly dog Aussie was with us, and sadly this was to be her last trip to the mountains. Aussie crossed the Rainbow Bridge later that fall. We've named our home after Aussie and we hope that everyone who vacations here will experience Aussie's sense of excitement, wonder, adventure, and especially love.

This home is located at over 4200' elevation, and enjoys heavy snowfall in winter months. Guests visiting November-April must come prepared with 4WD or AWD vehicles and may possibly need chains during winter months.
