We have quality accommodation in a quiet natural Australian Bush setting , located

at almost (500m) above the sea level at end of no through road . There are no below

zero temperatures during winter months and very few hot days during summer .

We have distant Hornsby Hills and Sydney views with light breezes and Beautiful

Pacific Ocean Sunrises from the east .

We are approximately 70 kilometres drive from Sydney City, your guarantee of a real escape from hustle and bustle.

Kurrajong Village is only 4.5 kilometres away with restaurants, antique shops, art and craft galleries, cafes, a bakery, butcher, liquor store, doctor, chemist, post office and many different churches. The Sassafras café is a nice spot in the village.

Numerous bush walking tracks and rock climbing and canyoning are all within easy reach of Kookaburra lodge. Guide booklets are available on request.

Hawkesbury Harvest Farm Gate Trail and Farmers Markets located nearby. Enniskillen Orchard, a founding member of the Harvest group, is located on Grose Vale Road, 3 kilometres away.

We are close to the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park and a short drive away from Mt Tomah, Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine cool climate gardens.

Hawkesbury, Nepean and Grose rivers are nearby for fishing, water skiing and general boating. Olde world paddle steamers run from Windsor and Penrith quite regularly.

Fresh water fishing, including trout fishing can be found further across the mountains.

Macquarie towns history walks and markets, ghost tours, historic hotels, many restaurants and cafes, golf courses, tennis courts, horse riding venues and the historic zig-zag railway are only a short drive away.
