Bear Creek Log Cabin is a Trapper style log cabin built from trees on the property. Bear Creek runs through the property close to the Cabin and Hot Tub. Bear Creek runs year round and has brown and cutthroat trout. The front yard has a large campfire pit with a metal mesh grill for cooking over fire. Plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy the out of doors. A gas grill is also available for quick grilling.

YEAR ROUND BEAR CREEK (with trout) on this amazing property. 5.5 Miles up Bear Canyon Road, just an 8 minute drive to Historic Downtown Bozeman. Bear Creek runs year round, has brown and cutthroat trout, and runs through the Cabin property near the Cabin and Hot Tub! You can see Bear Creek and hear it from inside the Cabin during the Spring, Summer, & Winter. There is a creek pool on the property with a picnic table for morning coffee or reading a book creekside.

Aspen and Pine Trees surround the Cabin. Two hiking trails are just one mile up the road. Hiking is available on the Cabin property also which takes you through Public, State Forest Land. Private, secluded in the Gallatin Forest . Wildlife trails run throughout the property. Whitetail deer, elk, moose, wild turkeys, birds, bunnies, squirrels, occasional black bears and a rare mountain lion in late summer and fall months. Rarely, the Mount Ellis Elk herd takes a path through the Cabin property, but, it is spectacular!

Hiking Mystic Lake Trail just one mile at the end of the road! This Alpine lake is awesome; 4 mile hike from the trailhead!
Another old logging road trail is an option at the end of our nearby Bear Canyon Road, which is easier with scenic switchbacks over Bear Creek.

Want to go to Historic Downtown Bozeman. Okay! Just an 8 minute drive from the Cabin and you are in the mix with art galleries, fine and casual dining, internet cafes, off broadway plays at the historic Ellen Theatre. Symphony, farmer's markets, Sweet Pea Parade & Festival of the Arts, Rodeo, Gun Shows, County Fair, Montana State University, Museum of the Rockies, Yellowstone National Park, Lewis 'n Clark Caverns, Horse Back Riding, Bridger Bowl Alpine and Cross Country Skiing, Bozeman Hot Springs, Antiquing for Western Gems!
